day thirty -> part two.

Chase was sent into a state of hysteria. His mind was going wild with a cacophony of negative thoughts. He feared the worst.

He turned the house upside-down searching for Zero, all the while hoping that it was some sort of sick joke.

When he didn't find any trace of the male in his home, he raced out of the house and searched the entire street. Aside from some stray dogs and cats, he couldn't find anything else.

And then a possibility struck his mind.

Though he felt bad for having done so, he "borrowed" a bicycle that was resting against a pole and climbed onto it in a hurry - and began cycling.

A gust of wind was repeatedly blowing against his face, dishevelling his hair in the process - but he could be less bothered. He just wanted to find Zero, that was all.

After say, around half an hour, he got to his destination.

The sight of the familiar worn down fence and the board which read trespassers will be punished sent chills down his spine. Chase had spent a reasonable amount of time looking for Zero in his vicinity - so by the time he got there, it was already dark.

He hoped he would find Zero there.

He hopped over the fence just like he had done the day when he had met Zero and rushed over to the shore - at the exact spot where they had met.

There was no sign of Zero.

And then came the waterworks.

He was full-on sobbing in front of the sea - and then he felt a hand on his shoulder.

"You found me."
