"So how did you know where to bring the egg?" Astrid asks looking at Elena, who sighs "I have friends in very unlikely places, I still can't stand Dagur though" "That's normal, very few actually can" Astrid says earning a smile "So you and Hiccup?" "Don't know what you're talking about", the blonde grins "Come on, you missed him" she points out "Look Astrid, I can't think about that right now" "You realize he'd jump in front of an arrow for you right?" "I realize that, I'm trying not to think about it, doesn't mean I'm blind" Elena says and she sighs "But you know, there's actually very little I wouldn't do to protect him" she whispers, this earns her a smile "Just give it a chance Elena".

Of course most things are easier said then done and when Dagur comes to he just proves to the chieftess he hasn't changed at all "Hold on, why is she here? Shouldn't she- Okay shutting up about that now" he says making Heather a bit confused. "Why did you bring him here?" Hiccup asks "Besides the fact you're on the run for Viggo" "What was I supposed to do? Take him to Berserker Island" Heather asks "When she was on Berk with her brother Dagur showed up and let's say he was less than... polite. So when some dragons kidnapped her he made it a contest, whoever found her first would get her hand in marriage" Fishlegs explains helpfully "Hiccup won, but he was only concerned for her safety". "Dagur thought I was an excellent dragon hunter" Elena says "I've never even tried to hurt a dragon, but than again, growing up with a night fury does wonders." "You grew up with Midnight?" Heather asks earning a nod "I found her as an egg, we were making a stop at an eerily quiet island and one year old me decided to explore, found an egg, which hatched a few days later into Midnight. According to dad I couldn't carry the egg, so I rolled it back to camp, or tried, took three hours before I succeeded in that task." "That's certainly a better story than me shooting him down and getting his wing injured, it healed nicely though" Hiccup says. "Okay, so, now what?" Snotlout asks making the others look at each other "We know Viggo needed the Dragon Eye to hunt down dragons" Hiccup says and Elena is inspecting a lens, so he asks "Where did you get that?" "Heather's belt? It looked shiny" she says moving sideways when said rider tries getting it back "But you destroyed it" Dagur says earning a nod "We did, does this work without it?" Tuffnut asks "I don't know" Hiccup says "But my guess would be no" "If it did I think Viggo wouldn't have cared about the dragon eye, he seemed really determined to get it" Heather says while trying to get her lens back. "Fine, keep it you shiny hoarding-", but Elena sends a glare that shuts up the most fearless of men as she hands the lens to Hiccup. "We may or may not-" Fishlegs starts "-forgot to mention she's a chieftess" Astrid adds making Heather look at them "How could you forget that important detail?" she asks "Simple really, she doesn't want to go home yet" Astrid replies "Besides, she doesn't act like a chieftess, so what's the point?" "Knowing would've been nice" Heather says "Brother did you know?" "Yeah I did" Dagur admits "But no one mentioned anything so I didn't say anything, so there's that".

"Hey Hiccup" Astrid says sitting next to her friend "Yes Astrid, what is it?" "When are you going to tell her?" Astrid asks, getting the question "Tell who?" "Elena of course, come on, I'm not blind" "For the love of Thor not you too. First Dagur shows up, only to be dragged away by Heather" Hiccup says "Terror mail from your father" Fishlegs says "He says it's urgent".

At Berk Elena smiles slightly "I missed this tiny forsaken island" she says making Hiccup laugh "My dad will be glad to see you too" he says "Course he would" Astrid says. They land and Stoick walks over "Glad to see you're here son" he says before his eyes land on Elena "Did the treaty expire?" "No of course not" she says with a laugh "Besides, I'm not chieftess at the moment, my mom is, I'm just the same girl that came here three years ago, but older" she explains "In that case forget I said anything". When they go to the area Elena has Midnight dive in and she looks around, patting Midnight to go back up "I see something" she says "And it's big, can't tell much else" "Keep an eye on the area" Hiccup says.

"Hold on, Viggo chained down a Submaripper?" Elena asks "Yes" Hiccup says "With dragon proof chains" "Try acid" she says "I'm leaving that for Fishlegs" he says "Look Elena, unless you know a way to get that deep underwater-" "I don't, not yet anyway" she cuts him off "But in case this ends up failing like almost all plans" she says pulling him down a little and kissing his cheek "I'll leave you to it". Astrid grins seeing Elena's red face "I saw that" the blonde says earning a "Don't know what you're talking about" as usual "Oh come on, I'm pretty sure Fishlegs saw that too" Astrid says "And-" "I get it, Astrid, the chances of this failing are huge, if Drake would try this don't tell me you wouldn't have done that" Elena says making Astrid go red. "Elena, are you okay, do you have a fever" Stoick asks "I'm fine Stoick" she says "I see, well come, maybe Hiccup could use your brilliant ideas" the chief says making Astrid laugh "I don't think that's the case" she says earning a glare and a confused look".

"Hiccup what the hell was that?" Fishlegs asks his best friend "I don't know Fishlegs, besides the fact she has no confidence this will work" "That's not true" Stoick says "She flew off to think by herself after I suggested you could use her help" "Right" Hiccup says "So she doesn't want to help?" "She does, the lass can think better on the back of a dragon though" Gobber says "Especially after that" "After what?" Drake asks landing his dragon "Nothing" Hiccup says "By Odin's beard, you've grown a lot" Stoick says "Drake you're here" Astrid says running over "Yeah, of course I am, Elena send me a terror saying you guys went here, so I'm checking how everything is" "She flew off to think" Stoick says and Hiccup decides to continue working on his design "Why? She's normally fine with drawing up plans around other people" Drake asks, but before anyone can say anything Hiccup grabs his designs and gets on Toothless before flying off too "Try Changewing acid!" he calls to Fishlegs before he's out of sight.
