"They just gave it to you?" Viggo asks "Yes, they said it fell off a cliff and that it broke" Heather says, but shouting cuts them off so they head outside "Doesn't seem like fixing it" someone says taking the object out of Viggo's hand flying by "Shit they followed me!" "Hiccup, catch!", Hiccup catches the dragon eye and looks at Elena "You were right not to trust her" "Shoot them all down!" Viggo says "Hiccup we have to leave now!" Astrid yells dodging arrows "Hand me back the dragon eye and I will let you fly out of here", Elena sees everyone stop when Hiccup says "Alright, you can have it" and he tosses it up "Now!" he yells and the riders have their dragons fire on it destroying it "You wouldn't!" he says "I just did, because with or without the dragon eye we will stop you".

Back at the Edge Elena starts laughing "Did you see his face when he realized what we did? It was hilarious" she says leaning on Astrid for support "Oh Thor, I haven't laughed like this since mom wanted to show my sister what flying felt like, who refused until she could sit with me" "Glad you find whatever you did equally as funny" someone says and they all turn to the door of the clubhouse "What are you doing here Elena? You're supposed to run the village" "Mom well... you see...", not being able to tell the truth she looks at the others for help "I know how hard it can be to be a leader and sometimes you need a break from it" Hiccup says "If she doesn't take breaks she's gonna collapse from exhaustion" "She's chieftess, she doesn't-", Elena doesn't continue following the conversation because she runs off and jumps down, Midnight flying back to their hut after catching her "And that's the last we see of her for a long period of time" Astrid says looking at their uninvited guest "She told us that there are people at her village who she thought were her friend, but weren't, wanted to take advantage of the fact she's chieftess" Hiccup says "So I suggest you stop whatever plan of yours you have to get her back home and give her time" he adds "Come on gang, let's see if we can find her before she does something stupid like refusing to eat". They search the entire island before trying the storage room "It's locked" Astrid says "Why does the storage room need a lock?" "To keep the twins out" Hiccup says and he steps back "Well if she's in here we can only hope she comes around".

Elena's laying curled up against Midnight on her bed, staring outside, she would've been fine if no one had shown up and she would've headed back when she was ready "Dragons are so much easier" she mumbles feeling a wing cover her "You don't come to drag us back home or any of that stuff, you support us as long as we give you food, kindness and lots of attention". Midnight growls softly earning a hug "How long until she leaves you think?", this earns another soft growl "Guess we never know".

When Drake shows up with his Skrill he's pissed off "You" he says walking to the person currently in charge of the village "I told you that she doesn't want to be found! But no! You leave us without a leader and dump that crying ball of annoyance with my dad!" he says before realizing his best friend isn't with the group "She probably locked herself up" he mumbles "Three days ago" Astrid points out "We haven't seen her get food, we haven't even spotted movements in the kitchen" "You, you good for nothing ex-chieftess, go home!" he hisses, but vikings are stubborn "Hey Bolt, take her home will you" he says patting his dragon, which flies off after picking up his package "How did you figure out she was here?" Snotlout asks "My dad said she ran off mumbling something about Elena, let's get her by the way". When Midnight hears Drake she jumps down and uses her tail to unlock the door and she pick him up before flying back up and Toothless follows her with Hiccup "Elena thanks god you're alright" Hiccup says "She gone?" Elena asks quietly "Yeah, Bolt took her home, you need to eat something" Drake says "Don't want to" she mumbles. Drake jumps down and says "I'll go and make something real quick". Hiccup pulls his friend into a hug "We will never let you go back until you're ready for it" he says "Promise and if she comes back just pretend she isn't there" "Easier said than done, did I mention my birthday is soon?" "No you actually didn't" he says with a smile "Any preference to presents?" "Don't know, depends on how I feel that day". "What did you do to the climbing rope?" Drake asks "Changed it so you can go up and down easier" "Show me how later" Hiccup says getting a confused look "It might be useful" he says "I swear you two are perfect" Drake says and both turn red, but Elena hides her face in Hiccup's shirt "Midnight" Hiccup says when the dragon laughs at them "Alright, food's ready" Drake says handing her a bowl of soup "I can make soup Elena, I tasted it" he says "You think she'll listen?" Hiccup asks "No, but no one is more stubborn than Elena, she takes after her father" "Think dad would be happy to see it now?" Elena asks "He would scold your mother, but I am sure he'd be very proud of you" Drake says "Look where you got us in three years, bigger houses, best defense system in the archepeligo and you got the wild dragons to live alongside us as our first line of defense".

Drake leaves soon and Fishlegs runs towards the stables seeing an injured Heather and the others arrive soon after him "I- we don't have any use for Viggo anymore now that the Dragon Eye is destroyed" "We?" Hiccup asks so Windshear lowers her wings to show a KOed Dagur "Wait... those two are family?" Elena asks "That explains a lot" she mumbles "That comment aside" Heather says "We need a safe place to stay for the time being" "If you don't mind sleeping in the dome" Hiccup says "Sometimes we keep our dragons there, like during lightning storms or snow storms" "During lightning storms we all stay there, besides one unlucky person who gets to open it afterwards" Astrid points out "Hey Hiccup, who's turn is it to cook?" Snotlout asks "Glad you asked, you" Hiccup says "No way! Cooking is for girls!" Snotlout yells earning four piercing glares "That's it, I'm not cooking for two weeks" Elena says walking off "Agreed with Elena" Ruffnut and Astrid say "Come on Heather, let's get your brother to the club house" Astrid says. "Congratulations, now we have to go without edible food for two weeks" Fishlegs says "Hm, Drake can cook pretty good, Astrid said it's as good as Elena's cooking" Hiccup says "On that note, there better be edible food this evening" he adds as he walks off too, leaving his cousin in his misery.
