Alyssa's POV

The ride was quiet. I looked from his fingers still entertwined with mine to the car window. Small houses and occasional trees seemed as if they were zooming past us, not us. It was nearly dawn and Harry did not whisper even the faintest clue of where we're going. It's okay. This is okay. Wherever this car may take me, even in the desert, heavens, or in a manhole, I'm okay as long as I'm with him.

I removed my gaze from the window. I stared at him, memorizing every detail of his visage. His focused eyes on the concrete road leading to somewhere. His sharp nose. His disheveled hair that I sometimes found the urge to entangle my fingers with. His dimple that I've always wanted to poke. His sharp jawline. I memorized everything because I'd regret if I didn't if and when he was to go somewhere else and leave me with nothing. It was bizarre to think this way but I'm damn scared if that was to happen and I'd have to pick myself right up. I need him and I want him to need me like he needed me.

"Stop staring." He said and bit his lips. He gave me a side-glance, "I can't concentrate on my driving."

I laughed, "I can't."

"Stop because I'd have to stop this car and kiss you if you're tempting me that way, babe." He smirked. My gaze fell down to my lap. I felt blood rushing to my cheek and the familiar thumping of my heart against my chest. I glanced at him to see him smirking at the dashboard. Damn this guy. He really likes to tease me.

The whole duration of the ride was filled with a comfortable silence with sudden outbursts of jokes and sharing of random thoughts (more of jokes. It made me question my potential as a proffessional comedian.)

I looked outside to see we're slowing down near a park. There was little to no-one in the park and it looked big enough. My gaze lingered there for a little. There was something about this park that really caught my attention. All the trees were embellished with fairy lights and lanterns. Lanterns hung on rope lines around the park and it looked beautiful. It was nearly dark and it made the place live with the perfect ambiance. Even the playground was lighted by fairy lights and lanterns. The sidewalk circulating the whole park was lighted by the same sources of light. There were post lamps like the park haven't got enough lighting. It was truly beautiful. Harry's car was park directly in front of the park sign reading 'Welcome to the Fairy Park.' Judging from the sign, I know this park was meant for the children, though I can't see even a hint of a toddler running around. I smiled to myself.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" I turned to Harry, surprised to realized he was staring at me. His eyes sent unexplainable tingles all around my body. I avoided his gaze, realizing how red my face might be at the moment. Just how long was he staring at me?

"Yea, very beautiful. With the lights and everything--"

"I meant you." He said and didn't break his gaze on me. He reached for my chin and lifted it up to meet his hypnotiziing eyes. Even when I'm sitting, I felt my knees limping like noodles whenever he touches me plus his gaze that I'm afraid I might die from.

I looked at my attire. My school uniform and my hoodie. Nothing new, nothing fun. Boring. Not fit for the occasion. But nevertheless, I managed to smile at him. The  feelings I feel for him, they're overwhelming. I brought myself to speak, "Let's go. I want to see the entire place.." I smiled. He slowly removed his hand under my chin and distanced himself just a little. He reached for the lock of my seatbelt that he unlocked myself from. Giving me a smile that made my knees grew weaker, he climbed out from his driver's seat and around his car, opening mine. He held out his hand and I reached for it. He has the softest hands ever, one of the reasons why I didn't want to let go of his hand earlier. I never want to let go. He's my drug and I'm afraid that he'll become something I'm addicted of, something I think I'll die not having even just a a brush of his skin to mine.
