When someone says rap is trash it hurts my soul

Their judgement is too rash its like calling the ghost a ghoul

Now I know that these days all you hear is the mumble rappers howl

And the mumble lyricists that roast them sound more foul

But there was a time, a day, worth staying up to listen to rap like a night owl

Their words had true steel compared to today's glass bowls

There is good rap out there, though it may be getting drowned

It is not rap's fault that a fallen king had gotten crowned

Just for a few wrongs, don't blame how the genre sounds

Like just for one bad crop, you don't burn down the whole ground
