Now I've made as if to end this book many times

So I'm not gonna do that this time

Just let flow the rhyme

And I wonder why people don't believe me when I say they are an AI

We all behave in different patterns, but inside our mind lie the same lies

The same old timeless emotions, like pre-progammed responses in motion

And all I have got are questions, why does it take so long to learn our lessons?

Our learning is a function, an equation, our emotions are triggers to data inputs

Madness is due to bugs in the code, addiction is a loop execution that overloads

Free will is the decision of the motherboard, constraints being all the limits imposed

Inside our mind and outside our bodies, our actions determined by all the types of data superimposed

Our programmer runs thousands of simulations like us and has left, his skills are quite deft

Religion could easily be a message, a self-inserted variable or a prank conducted in rage

Heaven and hell could be another level of the simulation, or just an idea from the olden age

Whatever, it explains why this world feels like a cage, pray for that wise diabolical sage

Who runs multiverses to collect data from the different scenarios that play out on stage

Explains why people learn and people change, but also still stay the same

Because our self-rewriting abilities are limited and must be honed and tamed

And your 0s and 1s, they are protons, electrons and neutrons

Come on its the God program, he has extra digits for photons

The recurring patterns in history and nature, the repeating events and numbers

It all points to one thing, that the simulation runs and our creator happily slumbers.
