Capturing monsters and killing slimes

Selling armor and counting dimes

Finding words and making rhymes

Loving videogames since I was nine

Some call it an escape from reality

I call it a dreamer's fantasy

You get to influence worlds, even if imaginary

You always get action, never stay stationary

You always find something new, never get weary

My love for videogames knows no bounds and needs no bros

For single-player solo squad is the life I chose

I know that you all out there prefer to read some prose

But consider the fun if you get to be in that prose

I would play nonstop even if the time froze

Just hard to see the fun in life when I love these things the most
