There was once a man with a plan

He thought he could fix what mankind ruined

Above the ground, living monsters he knew it

Zombies trapped him in the nighttime, ready to consume him

Testing for a cure, monster rights abusing

Alone with just his dog he was lonely 

Bob Marley's music made him feel homely

The subject he had stolen, the one he took her from

He came back for revenge in an unexpected form

Trapped in a scavenging hunt, his dog was infected

His will to live anymore just deserted

But out of the blue comes in two survivors

Claims they were immune, still believe in the higher

Looking for a safe colony was their desire

The man claims he can still fix this

The memories that haunt him, nothing can fix this

But a siege to his fort, and mercy from monsters

Made him realize he could be wrong, and perhaps the war had already ended

'I am legend' he proclaimed, and at last to fate he bended.
