Looking for something real in this world of plastic
In the movies they show love to be so fantastic
But with very few it even begins, and it usually won't be lasting
Physical beauty and fakeness is all that's blasting, on the stereo of love
Haven't we had enough of searching for the one
What if we are all destined to lose, what if no one has ever truly won?
They just combine their lives together because they want a daughter or son
No real spiritual connection, deep thoughts are never being shared with none
And there's this social etiquette here that the aliens would be stunned
Everyone's lonely but can't reach out cause its embarrassing and will be shunned
Would be called clingy and desperate and automatically would be gunned
And if you act all satisfied then you won't get approached by no one (none)
Trapped in our own paradoxes the human race is doomed to burn
I just wait for evolution, and enjoy my bright days in the Sun
So what if I'm alone, at least life has given me a turn
To live in this phony circus world and be unable to run.
