Sleepy in the day, up in the night
Against myself I have some spite
Tried my best to set this right
But it just doesn't happen, endless fight
Now what to do about this sleep schedule
Tried everything, but it still eludes
Me, oh sleep how shall I seduce thee
The joyous dreams, the feeling high
Nothing triumphs that in life, I can't deny
I love you so much, then why you run
Away from me, at every turn
You used to be so pleasant and firm
Now you treat me as if I were scum
And you were a queen playing with me for fun
You come when you want, when I need you you go
Getting myself to sleep, the process is really slow
Its like I turned, from a lover to bro
Now like siblings we bickers, always having these rows
About who will give in, to each other's throes
Wrote a poem on you, dear sleep, let's see how it goes.
