Trapped in the fortress of my mind, I long to rewind
Back to the time when I could make connections that feel right
Though these walls defend my weak being, they keep me in
I wish someone was there inside, ask me how its been
Hope I can survive the darkness, keep away from sin
An atheist cursed with morals, how can I win
Rub the stubble on my chin, I contemplate
Whether I should strengthen the barriers, or open the gate
For its true what's inside is too vulnerable, can't bear the hate
But alone in the cold water its rusting, no longer first rate
And just to get an extra read, to you I dedicate
I know the number is amusing, but Mr. Funny's late
Floridaman got corona, alligator brew couldn't save him, such is fate
Mememan got autocorrected at last, outclassed, going back in the past
Cut open everything to see if its cake, a metaphor that this world is fake
Astronauts in space in space suits, holding guns to each other, doing a retake
Asking if its all a green screen? Always has been
Marvel used to be good material for memes, now it just gives them sad feels
My hero could've double-snapped to recover himself, but death was part of the deals
We talk about modern problems, and big brain time
Yet bigoted thinking still isn't ancient, is this a sign
Our species is evolving but backwards, logic is dying.
