chirophobia - the fear of hands
Roonie's POV:

"Are you sure you're serious about this?" Grayson asked.

"Yes."

"When do you wanna film it?"

"The sooner the better. I'm off at 8 everyday and off on Sundays."

"How about tomorrow?"

"That's fine." I smiled.

"Mommy! Let's make s'mores!" Sean called from the door.

"We're coming." We looked at each other before getting up and walking outside. Sean was moving his small lawn chair between two big ones.

"Mommy," He said pointing at the chair on his right. "Grayson." He pointed to the chair in the left.

I looked up at Grayson who frowned. I sighed and reached over to gently grab his hand.

"What are you doing?" He asked looking down at our hands.

"You looked a little worried. I just wanted to calm your nerves." He smiled.

"Hurry and sit down!" Sean whined.

I let go of his hand and took my seat while Grayson took the other. Ethan was on the other side of the fire.

Sean handed Grayson and I little metal sticks with marshmallows on them. We all roasted marshmallows in silence.

"You wanna know what's next month?" Sean asked breaking the silence.

"What?" I asked.

"Halloween!" He squealed. "Spooky scary skeletons. Send shivers down your spine." He sang.

"I love Halloween!" Grayson said excitedly.

"Really?! Mommy hates it." My eyes widened and I looked over at Grayson.

"Well then I guess she'll love looking through our Halloween photos-"

"Grayson, no." He got up and bolted through the doors.

I groaned. Sean looked up at me and smiled.

"Since when did you hate Halloween?" Ethan asked with a smirk on his face because he and Grayson both knew that I loved Halloween.

"I've always hated Halloween."

"Mhm, okay." I rolled my eyes.

"Found it," Grayson said walking over with a small album in hand.

"Grayson-"

"Your mom loved Halloween," he said sitting down next to Sean and flipping through the pages.

"This was our first Halloween together. She was a Freshman in college and we went to the massive party." He showed Sean the image of Grayson as a werewolf and me wearing that stupid bunny costume Bri bought me. I missed my teammates.

"Mommy went to parties?!" Sean turned and looked up at me in shock.

"No," I said with a laugh.

"She was super fun at this one though," Grayson said sending me a discreet wink. I rolled my eyes. He was definitely talking about truth or dare. "She even gave me-"

"Grayson."

"That's a story for later." He chuckled.

"Are you serious, Gray?" Ethan asked with an eye roll. "Disgusting."

Grayson laughed and stuck his tongue out.

"I hate you," I said.

"What happened?" Sean asked.
