panphobia - the fear of everything
Roonie's POV

I sat in the living room packing up boxes while the boys were lifting all of the heavy stuff. At the rate we were going, we should be done moving in by tomorrow.

I sighed and looked around. We decided we didn't want to take any of the couches with us and Ethan didn't want them either because they wouldn't fit into the apartment, so we put those up for sale. Most of the house was empty. Grayson and I decided to keep the kitchen table, but we put the yellow chairs up for sale too.

I continued to place cups and dishes into the boxes. We also decided to keep the dishes. Picking what to take and what to sell was probably the hardest. Because some of these things like couches, chairs, and dishes were needed. But at the same time, Grayson and I wanted to buy our own things for our house.

We already finished moving all of our bigger furniture like Grayson's dresser, Sean's dresser, the TV's, and other big stuff. We decided to leave Grayson and I's bed so we'd have something to sleep on tonight with Sean. We also left the cribs for the twins.

"This is my room!" Sean said as we looked at the house. "Daddy, daddy! Let's build my bed tonight!"

"Not tonight, Sean. But tomorrow, when we finish moving we can," Grayson said with a smile.

"I'm so excited! Are you excited mommy?!"

"I'm very excited, Sean."

"I can't wait until tomorrow!" He ran down the steps. Grayson and I followed him. Each of us held one of the twins.

"He does know he's not getting the master room, right?" I asked.

"He'll figure it out soon enough." I laughed. Sean ran toward the back door and stared out into the backyard.

"Wow!" He smiled brightly. "Can we go swimming tomorrow in the pool?!"

"Maybe not tomorrow because we're busy, but we will. Okay?"

"Okay."

"You wanna go outside and look at the backyard?" I asked. Sean looked up at me and nodded. I smiled and unlocked the back sliding door. He ran out into the backyard. I leaned against the door frame and watched him.

"You okay?" Grayson asked.

"Yeah." I smiled. "Look at how happy he is."

"I know."

"This is... our home, Gray."

"Yes it is, Dolan." He looked around. "Our forever home."

He placed a kiss on my head. "After tomorrow's moving, this is officially our house."

"It feels like a dream." We looked out at Sean who was exploring every inch of our giant backyard.

"I've been living alone with Ethan for... over 10 years now. And I'm finally moving out."

"I know you're gonna miss him..."

"Yeah, definitely. He's my built in best friend."

I looked down at Liam who was sleeping soundly in my arms, then over at Wyatt who was in Grayson's arms. Built in best friends.

"I'm so happy we had twins, by the way." I smiled. "Now, they can be each other's best friend forever."

-

"How come I can't sleep in the crib with them?" Sean asked as we got ready for bed. I laughed.

"Sean, you're too big for the cribs," Grayson said.
