*10 years*
Roonie's POVOver the past 10 years, Grayson, our children, and I lived in the house we bought together after our wedding. I gave birth to another son, who we named Andrew Kian Dolan. And after 4 tries, we finally had our first and only daughter. Sean picked her name, Rosemarie Ashlyn Dolan, but the boys prefer to call her Remmy.
Sean was now 16 years old and a junior in high school. He's the starting receiver on his high school football team and Grayson's his biggest fan. And on Grayson's birthday, 9 months after our wedding, Sean and I surprised him with the gift of officially and legally changing his surname to Dolan. He was now Sean James Dolan.
The twins, Liam and Wyatt, grew up to be strong and healthy young boys. 10 years old, and in the 5th grade. They both were very smart book wise and street wise. They'd be moving up to middle school next year.
Andrew was 8 years old and in 3rd grade. Instead of waiting a year, we waited two. Andrew was the only child who looked more like me than Grayson. He shared many of my characteristics and at times, he even looked like my dad.
After Andrew was born, we tried again for a baby. Unlike my other pregnancies, this one took some time. For a few years, I struggled with getting pregnant. And at times, Grayson and I lost hope. But after 4 years of trying, we were blessed with the news of a daughter.
Rosemarie, was 4 years old. She wasn't in school yet, but would start soon. Grayson says she's lucky to have 4 older brother to fight for her and protect her. I think she's lucky too. Sean was the most excited to find out about his baby sister and out of all of the boys, he spends the most time with her.
I sat on the couch and watched Grayson play with Remmy. We still had a family YouTube channel. A majority of it was the kids and Grayson. For the most part, I stood behind the camera and filmed, which I liked doing.
"Remmy? Come out, come out, wherever you are," Grayson said creeping around the couch. She giggled softly and hid behind the arm rest. "Rem-"
"I'm right here, daddy!" She said popping her head up.
"That's not how you play hide and seek princess," he said. I laughed. Grayson picked her up off of the floor and placed a kiss on her cheek.
"Fly!" She said pointing at the sky. Grayson tossed her up in the air and caught her. She laughed hysterically as he continued.
"Be careful, Gray," I said. I smiled and propped my head up on my arm and watched them.
The front door unlocked. "I'm home," Sean said walking in. His backpack hanging from his shoulder and his car keys stuffed in his front pocket, with only the lanyard sticking out.
"Sean!" Remmy said excitedly. Grayson let her down so she could run over and greet Sean.
"Hi, baby sister," He said picking her up and placing a kiss on her cheek.
"How was school?" Grayson asked.
"The usual." Sean shrugged. He put Remmy down, who ran off to play with her toys. He tossed his backpack on the couch and placed his keys on the counter.
"Sean, is that where your backpack goes?" I asked.
"I'll take it up in a minute, mom."
I sighed and got up from my seat. I walked over to the kitchen and washed the dishes Remmy used for lunch. Sean looked through the fridge.
"There's no more Gogurts," He said taking the last one and tossing the box in the trash.
"Did you learn anything new at school?" I asked.
