Namjoon's POV"Hobi," I said, capturing his attention. Leaning on the door frame of his room, his face buried deep in his computer.
"Yeah, what's up?" He responded, his eyes glued to the screen.
"Have you been keeping up with Emrie's phone?"
"Yep. Just like we all assumed, no one's looking for her"
"Not one person?"
"No, but she received a few calls from some men working for her. I didn't answer them. Hyunjin texted a few times asking for permission for some minor business stuff and Jisoo's been texting about random things. I've been responding as normally as I could and keeping the messages short."
"Ok good and the cameras outside her house?"
"Guards switch shifts every four hours. Same guards during each shift. No one has entered or left the property except the occasional landscaper and sometimes Hyunjin would come by"
"Ok. Get the small microphone and cell phone ready. The mission is tomorrow night. I'm going to her room now and explaining the plan. We'll all be stationed in the black van so prepare whatever equipment you need to bring."
"Ok will do"
I left, shutting his door behind me, and headed over to Emrie's room. Unlocking the door from the outside, I knocked a few times before entering. She was sitting at the desk, cross-legged like a little child on the chair, a pencil in her hand scribbling on a piece of printer paper.
"Hey," I said.
"Letting me go home already? That was fast" She said in a teasing tone, putting the pencil down.
"Close... I'm here to discuss the mission with you"
I opened the door wide enough for me to enter and shut it behind me. She sat straight and focused her attention on me. Her hair in a messy bun and a few loose strands framing her face. Something about her facial structure felt close to home. Like I knew her from a past life. Maybe I'm just going crazy.
"So the Kwon's own a nightclub in Gangnam. Which I'm sure you already know abou-"
"Yes I do, it's called Lux. Opened a few years ago and also right across from one of my nightclubs. Really taking away my customers."
"Yeah exactly. So we've been monitoring it and tomorrow night, Kwon Jiyong will be there with a few of his men like they do every week. Your job is to talk to him, get in his head, and get as much information you can about his narcotics business. We want to know who and where he exports so we can trace it back. We will be in a black van right outside the club."
"Wait. I'm going in unarmed and solo?"
"The club is really restricted. None of us would be able to make it past the bouncer. You're a girl so they'll let you in and you can probably talk your way in if you have trouble" I said, taking a seat on the edge of her neatly made bed.
"What about Rachel? Can't she go in with me?"
"No, it's too dangerous for her. She wouldn't be able to protect herself."
"I can protect her but you don't think it'll be suspicious if a young girl goes clubbing alone?"
She's right. I didn't think of that. I stood and pondered for a few seconds, trying to come up with another alternative. She broke my train of thought by saying, "Wait a second. How would I even get into the club, I'm 19 years old?"
"We will make a fake ID for you and you'll be wearing makeup so it'll help make you look older" Right? Is that how makeup works?
"So all I have to do is get Jiyong drunk enough to tell me about his drug business?"
