I stepped out of the shower, hair dripping and the mirror all fogged up from the hot water. I rewrapped my wound and got dressed. It's been two days since my fight with Namjoon. I spent the nights thinking about what I was going to say to my father and if this was what I really wanted to do. I didn't want to, of course, but I had to. This was the only way to save my family's name and company. I'm only 20 years old, I shouldn't be carrying this much stress on my back. I should be out partying with friends and shopping for clothes that I don't need. I needed to talk to Namjoon. I desperately did not want to face him but I had to. I'm always doing things I don't want to. How is that fair?
I left my room, my hair still wet from my shower, and made my way to his office. His door was shut, like always, but I was fed up with his shit to even knock. I barged in and he sat behind his desk doing paperwork. He looked up immediately and said, "if you're going to give me a headache, I don't wanna hear it," he said, looking down at his paper and writing.
"I want to see my father" I demanded.
"What?" His head shot up.
"You said the offer is on the table for as long as I want. Well I want it"
"And what are you going to say to him?"
"That's for me to know and for you to use your IQ of 148 to ponder on"
"I need to know what you're going to say to him before I allow it"
"What? You're scared of a man behind bars?"
"I need to know you're not planning anything"
"You think I'm planning to overtake the Kim mafia? Well hate to break it to you but we can overtake you in our sleep"
"That's not what I'm talking about"
"Can a girl not go see her father just because she wants to?"
"Not when your father is Fey Minseok. This isn't just any typical family reunion."
"Hey! This is my family you're talking about!"
"Yeah I know and you're all psychopaths! You'd be lying if you disagreed with me"
"Whatever. Can I see him or was that birthday present just another one of your one-sided deals?"
He didn't say anything. He looked down at his paper, not reading it but trying to come up with an answer. The Kim's have a reputation for being moral people. That's why they're not that powerful compared to the Fey's and the other families. The Fey's were at the top because we sought bloodshed, not campfire conversations. They looked too deeply into what was right and wrong. When Namjoon took over, he tried to reverse that reputation but in a moment like this, I could tell that his virtues were getting the best of him.
"Ok fine. I will drive you tomorrow morning"

"Are you nervous?" Jungkook said, laying on my bed with his hands behind his head, leaning against my headboard.
"Kind of. I don't even know what I'm going to say to him" I said, holding up different outfits in front of the mirror, trying to pick an outfit for tomorrow.
"When was the last time you saw him?"
"When I was six. It was in the middle of the night and a bunch of cops broke into our house to arrest him"
"Why haven't you visited him?"
"I've spent my whole life hunting my demons. Then I realized that he was my only demon"
"Do you think you'll still feel that way after so many years?"
"I don't know. I'm not a child anymore so hopefully not... Are these pants too slutty to visit my beloved father in prison?" I asked, holding up a pair of tight leather pants.
