With Jimin beside me with an injured arm, this was going to end badly. I looked at him and he returned the same meaningful look. We were able to exchange a whole conversation with just eye contact. Someone's going to die. We weren't going to make it out alive together.

"What the fuck? Who the hell are you guys?!" the guy from the bar asked. Neither Jimin nor I answered him. Jiyong's focus was on me and only me. "My missing damsel" I heard Jiyong say. He stared at me, squinting his eyes. He knows. We're fucked.

"Well well well, Emrie Fey. I was wondering when you'd come to pay me a visit again. I was missing you" he said, sadistically, "have you been home lately? I heard some maid of yours died"

I ripped my mask off, holding eye contact with him. "You son of a bitch," I said. I didn't have any comebacks because he never did anything to me. I started the war, not him. He was only retaliating. I can't blame him. Jiyong was the good guy here.

"Get them" Jiyong ordered and the army of men start charging at us. In the frozen second between standoff and fighting, I looked over at Jimin. His eyes tried to mask the pain he was enduring, though he stood his ground.

We both reacted skillfully to Jiyong's men. I fought back as best I could, being outnumbered and fighting for two people. I was being thrown against the wall left and right and vulnerable. I was pinned beneath a large guy. He held me by the neck, and his weight crushing my body. I pulled a dagger from the buckle of my shirt and drove it deep into his torso. However, in the moment, it doesn't seem to affect him much. He flinched but continued to choke me. I stabbed him five more times before I felt his warm blood spilling on me and he toppled over.

I managed to stand up and catch my breath, throwing a dagger into the head of someone attacking Jimin from behind.

Another guy came up from behind me and pulled me to the floor. I was small compared to him so I fell back with him. He flipped me onto my back, straddling me and sending forceful punches to my face. I struggled with keeping my consciousness. Each hit was harder than the one before and my skin broke a little more each hit. I pulled a dagger from my shoe and stabbed him in the eye. I removed the knife just as swiftly and stabbed his other eye. It shocked me how brutal it was but if you want to survive, you have to do things you don't want to.

He stumbled onto his back and I sensed someone coming from behind me. Because they always do. I turned around with the dagger in my hand and swing fast. The dagger slit the throat of the guy behind me. He fell to the ground, clutching his neck but laid dead after a few seconds. I looked over at Jimin when the herd of men stopped coming at me. He was deprived of all his energy, blackened eye, and uneasy breathing. He managed to take out his group of men as best he could, though he was on the brink of collapsing.

After a few minutes, we were able to kill or demobilize most of his men. Jiyong stood back with his arms crossed beside Taeyang, watching the live-action right before them.

"Not bad. I'm impressed" he said, applauding at my ability to take down his men. He walked towards me, stepping over his injured men, not caring about them at all. "It's time for us to finish where we left off," Jiyong said, standing a few feet away from me. Taeyang followed closely behind him. Jimin, leaning against a wall, slid down to the ground from his flaccid body. Neither Taeyang nor Jiyong bothered acknowledging him, I was the only one here who was wanted dead.

"Jimin. Get out of here" I said to him. He looked up at me, shaking his head with whatever energy he had left.

"Yeah listen to your little girlfriend here. You probably don't want to see what we're going to do to her" he said in a sinister tone, hovering over me. I shot him the best glare I could, though no matter what facade I put on, I was not going to win this fight.
