Jungkook's POV

It's been a couple of days since my fight with Emrie. I couldn't get the image out of my mind of her face when I grabbed her arm. It haunted me. I had to push her away, I can't get attached to her more. I had to do this. Yoongi hyung fell in love once a long time ago and things didn't work out. I remember vividly how painful it was for him. He was right, staying away from her will benefit her as much as it benefits me.

"Boys, I called you all in here for an important reason," Namjoon says. Taehyung, Jimin, and I were ordered to Namjoon's office for an 'urgent meeting'.

"What is it, hyung?" Jimin asked.

"I wanted to talk to you guys about our plans moving forward"

"Shouldn't the other hyungs and Emrie be here too?" Taehyung asked.

"No, that's what I wanted to talk about. Emrie"

We all look at him puzzled. Where is this conversation going to go? It could end in so many ways.

"Ok, what about her?" Jimin further questioned.

"I'm aware that the three of you have grown really fond of her"

"Yeah, she's a really cool person," Taehyung said.

"That's why I brought you guys here to talk. Emrie is going to die one way or another. She will experience the fall of her empire and she will die by the hand of one of her enemies. I can't have you guys be best friends with her. You're all drifting away from our original plan"

"Haven't we destroyed her life enough? Someone she loved died and she died three times herself. Why can't we just end the plan here?" I asked.

"Kook, you never knew your parents because of her. Jimin, you're father was the sergeant of the police department and was brutally murder by her father. Taehyungie, your parents were completely innocent and were slaughtered like animals. I'm going to punish her however I want whether you guys like it or not"

"Have you ever even got to know her? Ever sat down and just talked to her like she's a person and not a dummy to beat up on? She's an amazing person" Jimin asked.

"Yeah? Or is she playing with your mind? You guys saw the way she played with Kwon Jiyong, she's doing that to all of you right now!"

"Hyung, I get that you're our leader and you're great but maybe stop to think about how the rest of us feel for once"

"I've taken you guys in when you were orphans and gave you a home and a family. It doesn't matter how you feel. I'm in charge and I'm doing this for you guys. You think I want to kill a young girl because I feel like it? I have a little sister and I could never let anyone hurt her. But revenge is best served cold so the plan does not change. So for once, put your dicks away, and let's finish what we started!"

"Hyun-"

"No! I will not hear it anymore. I'm sending her on a mission tomorrow with Yoongi hyung. She will continue with the missions. I'm warning you three now, stay away from her. It'll make everything easier in the future. You're dismissed"

We all left the office in disappointment. He's right. Yoongi hyung was right. This girl is nothing but trouble. I'm losing something I never even had. Why does it hurt just as bad? I thought finding a way to love her was hard because of who she is, but forgetting her is going to be so much harder.

The three of us walked back to our rooms, not saying a word to each other. The sound of all of us slamming our doors shut echoed through the house. I needed to let this anger out. I needed to keep myself busy to get her out of my head. I looked over to the painting I had on my floor. I never finished it. I had just thrown on random colors and blended them, it was the only way I knew how to channel my inner feelings. I picked up a paintbrush, dipping it in a puddle of crimson red, and slabbed it onto the canvas. I don't know what I'm painting but my troubles slowly drifted from my mind. Mixing black and greys in my palette, the sun outside had set. I was painting for hours but it felt like five minutes.
