I thought it wasn’t the time to have the celestial spirit standing there, one with the background. So I closed Aquarius’ gate so she could continue her so-important date.

Stunned, I steadily watched as the demonic pink head cooking the water lock Juvia casted. Natsu was still embraced by the water, but slowly, the water was evaporating. The water lock was decreasing in size and Juvia couldn’t hold it any longer, trying to keep the water lock standing.

I suddenly had the urge, the gleaming blue water shaped in a sphere with Natsu inside, to stop. Wobbling bubbles, containing oxygen, escaped from his mouth. I turned around, about to tell Juvia to stop, when a rambunctious splash was heard, as if there was a plump man who just jumped into a water pool, using all his weight, having gravity supporting him, he tipped to the water as the waves crashed, the soft belly of his skin sears with pain.

I turned my head again, seeing the water lock, no longer a sphere, but now a flooded puddle. Natsu sat there, his back slightly slouching. His pink hair, his hair strands completely absorbed so much water, that the clear liquid dripped in a quick beat, falling from the tips of his hair. I wanted to look at his face, seeing if he was Natsu...or probably the growling beast still. His hair was wet and lost it’s spike, so all of Natsu’s strands were down, flat on his face that i couldn’t see his expression.

“Natsu?” I called out, my voice turning out kind of raspy.

The response I received was a soft snarl. Great, still a beast.

“Lucy, please stay back. Juvia will handle this.” Juvia said. As she took a few hesitant steps towards the pink beast, noises heard from Juvia’s high heel boots. I prayed that Natsu doesn’t go pouncing on Juvia and ripping the tender flesh off her bones or something. I wanted to go after Samuel, who disappeared somewhere.

Natsu raised his chin, exposing the glossy red scales that formed on his fleshy neck. A feeling of curiosity swirled in my stomach, Why does Natsu have scales? Why is he acting like this? Are the scales a sign of something?

Natsu stared at Juvia with his dark eyes. Not the tender kind ones I always see from Natsu. Instead, it’s as if everything he sees, his prey. Fresh meat. A trembling shiver ran up my spine as Juvia stopped in her tracks, staring back at Natsu.

After a little moment of elongated silence, a soft growl was heard from Natsu’s hungry lips. Natsu stood up, pushing his body up with his wobbly two legs. Then Natsu pushed his two legs towards Juvia, to my surprise, it was an amazing speed. I blink and the next second, he’s gone.

I turned to the area where Juvia was standing, seeing her strangled to the ground, with Natsu’s precarious hands enveloped around Juvia’s neck. I quickly sprinted towards the choking scene, trying to tear Natsu from Juvia. “Natsu! What are you doing?! Let her go!” I yelled.

But to no avail, I was pushed  back by one of Natsu’s bulky arms. Having the pain smash against me as I hit the ground. I swing my head around, with a bit of scorching pain running up my neck as I twisted it. Juvia gasped, struggling for air. Only for her windpipe to be squeezed by Natsu’s hands.

“Natsu! Stop! You’re going to kill her!” I exclaimed. Again, trying to tear him away from Juvia. Tears welled up in my eyes, so frustrated, so sad. How could Natsu do this? Why? Why?

“Natsu! The hell’s wrong with you?!”

I turned around, seeing Gray standing on one of the wrecked rooftops. Flashing half of his body, completely shirtless. “Gray-sama!” Juvia managed to gasp out, completely lovestruck even though she’s in a critical situation, just couldn’t take the scene of the shirtless boy that she turned deep red.
