THIRD POV

"You guys good?" Ian asked still a little shaken up from the whole sprite incident.

"I'm fine." (Y/N) grunted from the passenger seat, thankful to get out of Ian's hair.

"Is dad okay?" Ian worried.

Barely jumped up onto Ian's shoulder and announced, "He's fine because of the skillful driving of Sir Ian Lightfoot. High five!"

As Barley put up his hand for a high five, it suddenly grew very large. (Y/n)'s legs started to grow too.

"W-what's going on?"

"I think the spell is wearing off!" Barley said as his head was growing back to normal. (Y/N) and Barley continued to grow, but Barley was growing on top of Ian. Barley's foot grew, and it shot to the gas pedal. The van sped up rapidly, causing Ian to lose control and swerve all over the road. The van sped past a hidden police car and it started to chase after them.

"Aw, Chantor's Talon!" Ian cursed as he shoved Barley off of him, "Cops!"

"Pull over."

"I don't have a license." Ian whined.

"AAH! My wallet is still tiny!" Barley exclaimed, "(Y/N) you got one?"

"I left my bag at home!"

Ian pulled the car over and one of the cops said into the megaphone "Step out of the vehicle."

The three kids inside all panicked trying to figure out what to do. Suddenly, their dad stood up and busted through the back doors of the van. He stumbled around a little bit causing the cops' eyes to widen. He finally stood still and the three kids in the van looked in horror as the cops stepped out of the car. "They're gonna take dad." Ian panicked.

"Okay, okay." Barley soothed, "I got it.  The disguise spell. You can disguise yourself to be anyone you want."

"But what if I mess up again?"

"According to the spell, 'disguising yourself is a lie, so you must tell the truth to get by.'"

"So as long as he doesn't tell a lie, we should be fine?" (Y/N) asked joining in.

"Yup."

"Okay, so who are we going to be?" Ian asked his siblings.

The three locked eyes and smirked. They were all thinking the same thing, Colt Bronco.

~~~~~~
"Okay, we're taking you down to the station." one of the cops said as she reached out for their dad.
"What seems to be the problem?" Ian said as Colt, "Fellow police folk?"
"Officer Bronco?"
"Were you in that van?"
"Affirmative. And we will...." Ian continued before he realized his mistake, "I mean, I will take full responsibility for that fella right there. So you can just release him over to me."
Ian stood there trying to look tough, and Barley was hanging onto Ian's hips, being the back legs. Since (Y/N) was the lightest of the three, she was hanging onto Ian's front, acting as Colt's stomach.
"Hey! I wanted to be Colt! I hate it back here." Barley whispered to Ian.
"Speak for yourself! I have to be Colt's beer belly!" (Y/N) snapped back.
"You two! Stop arguing!" Ian pleaded, "Ill do the talking."
"Bronco, I thought you were working on the other side of town." the first cop quizzed.
"I, uh, changed my mind." Ian said, but then his ear changed back to his own elf ear.
"Is something wrong?" The cyclops cop asked as she shone her flash light onto 'Colt'.
"Just a little neck cramp." he said and his hand turned back to Ian's hand.
"You have to stop lying." (Y/N) scolded Ian.
Barley thought about this for a second before his head got an idea, "Answer every question with a question."
"What exactly are you doing out here?" The cop asked again, snapping the three back to reality.
"Uhh, What am I doing out here? What are any of us doing out here?"
"Woah." the short cop realized, "I never thought about it like that."
"With all do respect, you didn't answer my question."
"Well we were just, um, exercising some d-drivers education drills for Ian."
"Who is Ian."
"Oh." The cops realized turning around to the kids' dad, "Is that Laurel's kid?"
"Ian is Laurel's kid."
"Your stepson was swerving all over the road."
"Yeah, well... that guy's not all there today."
"Yeah, he does seem a little off."  the cyclops cop said before approaching 'Colt' again, "You seem a little off yourself.
"Uh, actually, if I'm being completely honest, I'm not super great in this situation, and I'm all sweaty and weird, and I don't know what to say...." Ian trailed off
("You can say that again." (Y/N) grunted, for her face was up against Ian and it was starting to get a bit moist.)
"Hold on, hold on." the cyclops cop soothed, "I think I know what's going on here."
All three kids' eyes widened, preparing for the worst. "You do?" Ian squeaked.
"It's not easy being a new parent. My girlfriend's daughter got me pulling my hair out, okay?"
"Oh. Uhh, yeah."
"Alright, we can let him go."
"Okay well, I'm just going to take him to the van."
"Hey, it gets better. All right? Good luck, Bronco."
"You too officer. Keep workin' hard or hardly workin'!"
"Now that was a good Colt!" Barley praised.
"I don't envy you Bronco." the other cop chimed in, "Those Lightfoot kids are a handful."
"Uh, I'm going to have to disagree with you there. I think Ian's a pretty stand up citizen."
"Not him, the other two."
"What?"
"I mean, they are screw ups. The one tries to stop every thing that we try to tear down. And (Y/N), man. Most notorious and dangerous street racer to ever drive. You can't say you don't agree."
"I-I don't." Ian blurted, but then his leg turned back to normal.
"What" (Y/N) an Barley whispered in shock.
"I mean, okay, well I gotta get going gotta get Ian home." Ian's arm changed back, "I mean, I'm late for work." Barley changed back, "I mean, I'm feeling a little sick." (Y/N) changed back, but thankfully in the van.
Ian shut the car door and drove off as fast as he could.
"Oh man. Bronco is losin' it. See that's why I never got married." the short cop muttered as she walked back to the car.
The cyclops cop started to investigate though, and she saw how the footprints went from hooves to sneakers. "This is Specter." she said into her walkie, "Can you put me through to Officer Colt Bronco?"
