𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧 ➸ 𝐦𝐚𝐱 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 ✓

𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙬𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙮-𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙚

The two walked back to Max's house full of laughter.

Now that nothing was hidden between the two of them, it felt like they were free of everything.

They arrived in their street just in time for the sun to almost completely set and a sign that dinner was ready.

"Why didn't you tell me the two were together?" Emily asked, sneakily looking out the window. "What do you mean—oh!" Harvey exclaimed, taking his place on the other side of the window. "Those two, I swear—wait! They're coming in!" Dobby announced, the three of them quickly calming themselves down.

"After you" Max opened the door, sending Rachel a goofy grin. Rachel laughed it off, mumbling a 'thank you' before entering.

"Hey!" Rachel greeted with a wide smile as she saw her friends in the Mills' living room.

"Heyyy!"

"Hello!"

"Hey!"

They greeted back.

"Children! Dinner's ready" Sara's voice echoed out from the kitchen.

Everyone piled in the kitchen. Tilly happily taking her seat next to Rachel. Max opened his mouth to protest but decided to just let this one time slide.

The next morning, Rachel and Emily stayed indoor and decided to have a pool day by themselves since they haven't had the time to catch up on each other's life even though they live together.

"Rachel, be honest with me" Emily spoke, bringing her sunglasses to the top of her head. "Hm?" Rachel hummed, fixing her position on her floatie they just blew up. "Max going on between you and Max?" she smirked.

"Wh-what do you mean?" she stuttered, looking at Emily. "Oh, you know what I mean!" Emily laughed, splashing Rachel with water.

The thought of what was going on between Rachel and Emily was long forgotten once they started splashing each other with water and catching their breath from laughing. The sound of the doorbell ringing caught their attention. "I'll get it" spoke Rachel. Getting out the swimming pool and pulling over her head a large t-shirt she found in her closet. Grabbing her phone from the small pool table they had, she made her way towards their front door.

Opening the door, she was surprised to see the twins and Dobby standing by their front door. Even more surprised to see Leo and Tilly in front of them and Chris at the back. "From your smiles and attires, I can tell you guys wanted a pool day with us as well" she smirked, putting hands on her hips. "Wha- how did you know?" Max mocked, looking around the area 'confusingly'. "So, uh, can we join you and Emily then?" Chris smiled like a happy little kid. "We could use some company, come in!" she stood beside the doorway, motioning for them to come in. They bolted their way towards the pool. Rachel laughed, hearing Emily squeal from the back.

Max stayed behind, waiting for Rachel. "Nice shirt your wearing" he spoke, a smirk raising from the corner of his lips. "Thanks, it also looks awfully familiar.." Rachel dozed off, trying her best again to remember where she got it from, just like what she did when she saw the shirt earlier hanging in her closet. "I know where it is from" he spoke.

She looked at him quizzingly, now making her way towards the back where everyone was. Max followed behind. "So are you gonna tell me or not?" she asked.

"Hey, Rachel! Nice shirt! Isn't that the one you stole from Max?!" Harvey exclaimed, before being dragged down the water by Dobby.

Rachel looked back Max in shock. Max couldn't help but laugh at her expression. Rachel smacked him in the arm. "I totally forgot about that" she breathed out.

The rest of the afternoon, everyone enjoyed their day by the pool. "Bye Rachel, see you..." Tilly trailed off, thinking when she'll see Rachel again. "Nevermind, I always see you" the young girl giggled, hugging Rachel. Rachel chuckled.

Everyone soon left, bidding the two girls goodbye.

Max hugged Rachel goodbye. Letting the hug linger a little longer before pressing a soft kiss to her head. "Take care of yourself" he spoke softly, before following his siblings to their house.
