Cold

Another hoodie stealing one because it's adorable. They're not dating in this one. SQUIP never happened.

Jeremy's POV

Today was going to be a bit colder, and since I'm more vulnerable to the cold, I should probably later up. But I won't.

For one reason and one reason only, Michaels hoodie. I know for a fact that if he sees me cold he'll give it to me. Since I have a crush on him, I always want his hoodie. But he doesn't know this.

*le time skip*

I walk towards me and Michaels meet up place where we start walking to school together. He's already there, bobbing his head to the music in his headphones. It's always so cute when he does this, and I feel myself blush just thinking about him.

Michael notices me and pauses his music, followed by him putting his headphones back around his neck.

He waved at me while I'm still a few feet away, and I start speed walking to get to him. Bad idea. Since I'm such a clutz and forgot to tie my goddamn shoelaces..... I tripped.

I let out a squeak and because I was only one or two feet away from Michael, I fall onto him. Oh god, could this be even more awkward.

I look up to see he caught me, and also realize that I was hugging him a little too tight, so I wouldn't fall.

"U-um, hey" Michael said, flustered. I could see a small bit of red on his face and I got confused. He obviously doesn't have a crush on me, why would he be blushing?

"Jer? You alright?" Michael asks, snapping me out of my trance. I realized that I was staring and still leaning on him. I quickly got up and brushed myself off.

"Y-yeah, definitely. Just got caught off guard and fell." I stuttered. Suddenly I felt a shudder through my body and remembered the reason I didn't layer up.

"So, uh, should we get walking? We don't wanna be late." I suggest, trying to break the awkwardness. It surprisingly works because Michael is back to his old, semi-confident, geeky self.

"Well, let's go then!" He smiles. "You might want to tie your shoelaces first."

"Right." I respond quickly tying them.

We start walking as I become colder and colder. When the school building is in view, but still a few blocks away, Michael FINALLY notices that I'm shivering.

"Hey Jer?" He questions.

I respond with a little 'mhm?'

He thinks for a moment before saying, "Are you cold? Do you wanna wear my hoodie?"

Score.

I play it off as cool as I can, "I mean, sure. I guess I am a little cold."

He starts taking off his hoodie, to reveal a shirt I've never seen him wear, it was a black long sleeve shirt. The word "CREEPS" sprawled across it. He should wear it more often, it makes him look cute.

I snap out of it, when he hands me the hoodie. Immediately putting it and feeling the warmth and smell of Michael comfort me.

He chuckles at how the hoodie is too big for me and how I'm basically drowning in it, I'm fine with it though.

We soon arrive at school and head inside, away from the cold. As I start to take off the hoodie, Michael stops me.

"A-actually you can k-keep it on for the d-day." He blushed and I started to feel my cheeks warm up as well.

"O-okay, if you insist." I respond and keep it on. Me and Michael have different first periods so we said goodbye and went our separate ways.

Needless to say I was love struck the entire day, why wouldn't I be? I got to wear my crush's hoodie all day!
