"hey michael!" i heard jeremy call from my room, i was in the basement at the time.

"yea?" i called back, starting to get up and head upstairs. i ran up the stairs and opened my bedroom door to see jeremy sitting on the floor, with a box in his hands— wait.

fuck.

my memory box.

you know, the one that has love letters to jeremy but i never gave them to him because he's as straight as a stick.

that box.

"where'd you find t-that?" i asked nervously.

"in the back of your closet, i was looking for a hoodie to wear since yours are so comfortable and i found this. we should look through it." my face heated up at the fact jeremy was looking for my hoodie, but he borrows my clothes all the time. it's not weird anymore.

i glance at the box, the messy writing on top silently taunting me with its personal information within. the writing read, 'MEMORY BOX'.

i'm not loving the idea of jeremy looking through it, but if i stay silent for longer he'll know somethings up.

"alright, you can look through it." i confirmed, mentally preparing myself for rejection.

jeremy squeaks out of excitement and opens the box, reaching for the first thing in there.

"my old dolphin plushie?" jeremy asked, "i thought i lost him!" he exclaims, hugging the plush toy to his chest. i smiled at how adorable he is.

the next thing he reached for was,

"our old concert tickets!" he yelled. in his eyes i saw the sparkling glint of remembrance and nostalgia. why does he have to be so cute?

he set the tickets aside and kept looking.

"ooh! our matching pac man hoodies! dude they still fit! why did we stop wearing these?" jeremy squealed and put the hoodie on.

"i think we got the sizes too big, that's probably why they fit." i explained, smiling at the memory. i took my regular red hoodie off and pulled the pac man one over my body.

(they have matching ones of these ⬆️ just imagine them wearing these right now)

jeremy giggled at our matching hoodies and pulled me into a side hug. i laughed and put my arm around his shoulder.
