Lucy's POV

Levy had been begging me for weeks to go to some bar where her boyfriend, Gajeel, played often. I'm not a very social person in general but I'm going for the sake of my friends. Levy told me that Erza and Jellal were going to be there too, which only made me cave more. It also didn't hurt that Juvia and Gajeel were playing. Levy also mentioned something about Gray bringing someone, which made me nervous but I had already accepted. I told levy, the only way was going is if she picked me up and we went together. She agreed and promptly told me to start getting ready.

"I know. I know. Look, all I'm saying is that tons of people have scars and they choose to embrace it. It's your choice, I know that, but you can't hide them forever." She told me as we got in the car. Levy started the car and began pulling away from the parking space and into the street.

"Levy. I love you, but you've seen them. All of them have lowered my ability to regenerate enough skin in order to heal. Even getting a small burn from cooking stays for years. I think it's even worse that I can tell how each one happened." Thinking about it sent chills down my spine. Levy turned onto a main road and shook her head,
