Lucy's POV

I was filling out relocation papers for Rose the day after Natsu randomly got really close to my face, taking advantage of me having just woken up. Rose arrived with us yesterday, around noon. She was Baker Acted here for her Panic Disorder. They are very treatable and I don't believe she'll be here for long. We've been seeing an increase in in-patients rather than out-patients, so most of the senior doctors are overloaded. The newer doctors, like me, are helping out, which I don't really mind because the more patients we have, the more money we get. I'm not really here for just the money, but it is a nice perk. We do have a limit to how many patients we can have and it's five. That spreads our schedules pretty thin, but how most Pysch Ward Specialists work it is having one patient each day and keeping their dispatch and hotline open and on in case of emergencies.

I had just finished the last of my report for Rose's relocation. I was technically breaking protocol by moving her already, but the file says I have full authority over everything in association with Rose Ortega. As I was about to walk out of my office with my file and lab coat in hand Katie came bursting into my office. We almost collided but I, luckily, stopped in time. I gave her a questioning look,

"You have a TSC. Arrival in 6 minutes." A TSC means Time Sensitive Case. I set Rose's relocation file on my desk and quickly put my white lad coat on; also grabbing my badges from its pockets,

"File." She handed it to me I began reading all the information.

"The phone call recording stated the girl was covered in blood and foaming at the mouth..."

"I'm going to have to scrub in, aren't I?" Katie nodded. I ran to my duffle bag and shut my door. Katie shut all my blinds and I quickly changed into my scrubs as we contuinted preparing,

"She's underaged." I spoke.

"The higher-ups approved the TSC request." I nodded and look down at the file again.

"Five different suicidal attempts in one day, huh?"

"This morning."

"So this is a fresh TSC."

"Yes."

"Arrival time?"

"2 minutes at most." I threw my sneakers on and we both ran out of the door and down to the emergency entrance where and frantic mother pulled up with her slowly dying daughter next to her. Katie and her team took the girl into their care and kept me connected through our pagers. Katie kept hers on so I could hear everything while I talked to the mother about what was going on. I paged on of the nurses, Pete, and told I would take his place. The mother was crying into my shoulder and hadn't even made it inside yet,

"Mrs. McBride. I'm going to have one of my nurses, Pete, stay with you while we stop the bleeding and subdue the infections she's probably caused. I'm going to tell you now that I am going to be very forward about her condition throughout this whole process." She nodded and I handed her off to Pete and ran off to the operation room.

"Katie."

"Right. Wrists cut up to her forearm, on both sides. Multiple cuts on the back of both legs. Brain damage, back center, probably from a fall. Three ribs seem to be broken, we can't be for sure until we get the X-ray room. Black eye, on the left. Foaming at the mouth from an overdose. AEDs used to stop seizures. Fingernails are bitten and raw with green and orange infection sight wound." I was taking notes on a pad and would fill everything in when things have calmed down a bit.
