Adrianna walked down the stairs and flopped down between Elena and Aunt Jenna as they watched the news.
"To repeat, the animal terrorizing Mystic Falls has been caught." The cute news guy reiterated. Adrianna heard her aunt let out a scoff.
"Scum ball. Scum bucket." She muttered with malice.
"An ex?" Adrianna laughed, earning a glare from her aunt before she nodded.
"The news guy?" Elena shifted a little, looking past Adrianna to their aunt.
"Also known as Logan 'Scum' Fell." Aunt Jenna moved her gaze from the t.v and turned to the twins. "Did your mom ever tell you why I moved away from Mystic Falls?" Adrianna looked over at her sister with a surprised look before looking back at her aunt.
"No way." Both her and Elena said at the same time. Jenna cringed and nodded in confirmation.
"He's cute." Adrianna shrugged and turned back to the news. Aunt Jenna scoffed as Elena got up from the couch and walked out of the living room.
"He is not cute. There's nothing cute about him." Elena returned to the living room with a box and Adrianna immediately recognized it as the box that her parents kept important heirlooms in. "What are you doing with that?"
"I went yesterday and got it from the safe deposit box. Mom told Mrs. Lockwood she would loan it to the founder's council for their heritage display." Elena answered as she opened the box and began taking items out of it.
"Is that grandma Beth's wedding ring?" Aunt Jenna asked as Elena held an old fashioned ring up in her hand.
"Originally it was great-great-grandma Mary's wedding ring." Elena stated simply as she continued scanning the ring. Adrianna saw Jeremy enter the room and nodded in greeting. Surprisingly, he did the same.
"How much do you think this stuff is worth?" Elena looked at him in confusion. "You know, like on eBay?" Elena rolled her eyes and Adrianna chuckled lowly. Her Aunt Jenna gave her a scolding look. The girl laughed and held her hands up in surrender.
"You're not gonna find out." Elena placed the ring back into the box and closed it. Jeremy narrowed his eyes at her.
"That stuff is mom and dad's. You can't just give it away." Elena scoffed and rolled her eyes at her younger brother.
"I'm not giving it away. It's called a loan, Jeremy." Elena huffed and before Jeremy could reply the doorbell rung. Jeremy rolled his eyes and climbed the stairs to his room and Adrianna just sunk back down into the couch. Elena placed the box onto the dining table and then went to answer the door.
She saw Elena drag Stefan through the door and kiss him. She caught her sister's eye as Elena dragged her boyfriend up the steps and smirked. Elena just smiled as she continued to walk up the stairs. A few minutes after turning her attention back to the tv she felt her phone buzz.
