"I say we go to Pearl's, bust down the door, and annihilate the idiot that attacked us last night." Damon hissed as he boarded up the window that the two vampires had broken through.

"Yeah, and then what?" Stefan asked. "We turn to the rest of that house of vampires and say, 'Oops. Sorry'." Damon sighed and turned to his brother. Count on Stefan to always ruin his fun.

"I can't believe you made a deal with her." Elena spoke up from her spot on the couch. Damon rolled his eyes before answering her.

"It was more like a helpful exchange of information. And it's not like I had a choice." Damon rubbed his eyes at the memory and shuddered slightly. "She also promised to help me find Katherine."

"Of course she did." Elena sighed in exasperation and Damon just crossed his arms, amused. "Damon gets what he wants, as usual. No matter who he hurts in the process."

Damon chuckled because she had no idea how wrong that was. There was at least one person he genuinely cared about. "First, you don't have to be so snarky about it. And second, I never said I wanted her back."

Elena narrowed her eyes suspiciously at him. "I woke up this morning to learn that all the vampires have been released from the tomb. I've earned snarky."

"Ok, Mother Theresa." Damon raised his hands in mock surrender. "How long are you gonna blame me for turning your birth mother into a vampire?"

"I'm not blaming you, Damon." The older Gilbert twin began. "I've accepted the fact that you're a self-serving psychopath with no redeeming qualities."

"Ouch." Damon placed his hand over his heart.

"This isn't being very productive." Stefan said. "We're gonna figure out a way to deal with Pearl and the vampires." Stefan turned to Damon with a questioning eyebrow. "Yeah?"

Just as Damon was about to answer he heard shuffling sounds from his room as Ade sprang from his bed and ran into the bathroom. Damon nodded at his brother before he walked out of the parlor and flashed into his room.

He closed the door behind him and made his way to his bathroom to see Ade hunched over the toilet, throwing up. Damon walked over to her and pulled her hair back while she continued being sick.

Finally she stopped and Damon let go of her hair, reached over, and grabbed a towel to hand to her. "Thanks." She muttered as she stood up and wiped her mouth off. She moved to the sink and washed her mouth out.

Damon opened the mirror and pulled out a new toothbrush before handing it to her. Ade smiled at him and he left the bathroom and walked into his room. Once there, he grabbed the bottle of Tylenol and waited for her to leave the bathroom.

"I have Tylenol and we can go downstairs to get water." He said as soon as she left the bathroom. She nodded and grabbed the bottle from him. "I also have one of your outfits in the closet."
