Who am i? I'm a man who gets what he wants. Most people lie to get what they want. I'm one of those people.

"How much longer are we going to wait? You have spent three months on this task and you don't have a lead."

I was on a video call with my colleagues.

"Yes, we do. We have Curtis Rollins." Trent.

"We investigated and found three possible people the CA would most likely use as a pawn. Nicholas's best choice was Curtis Rollins." Mei.

Game changer; I'm actually Nicholas but only real my colleagues knew that.

"I wonder what makes him so sure about that?" Colton. Who was our general.

"Because i know." I paused. "The girl is different. Special." Then i recalled her words when we spoke two days ago and smirked. "Goal oriented."

"Take me on about your plan again." Colton said with a serious face.

"Simple." On the other end of the video call Mei was at gun shooting practice but right now she was filling her gun with bullets. "Our plan was for Nicholas to get closer to the most likely pawn of the CA." Mei said and she shot at a paper target.

"I'm working on her so don't you worry, Colton." I was spinning in my swivel chair in my home office with a crossed leg." See it's all about calculation, precision and good timing."

Mei giggled. "Are you kidding? Nicholas you almost jeopardized our mission because of your nasty ego."

I chuckled. "Thankfully, i have her where i want her. She's been acting all sexy around me lately."

"It's actually a good thing. That way you could enter her life and it won't be very suspicious because she also wants you." Mei added.

"Bullseye." I winked at her. Mei is one of the smartest people i know. She just knows how to connect the dots.

"Nicholas get your work done and stop playing mind games. The fate of this country rests in your hands now." He ends the call and his slide shows disconnected. Leaving me with Trent and Mei now.

"Now that Colton is out of the conversation. You can actually tell us what your real plan is because i know you." Trent who was sweating alot and had a towel on his neck said, i think he just finished working out.

"Guess what?" Mei was now holding her gun in one hand and her phone in the other. "Curtis, emailed me your wedding invitations and... it's tomorrow."

"Yea, i got a copy too." I sighed. Gullible.

"Are you going through with the wedding?" She asked before firing at another paper target, another direct hit.

"What do you think?" I grinned.

She rolled her eyes at me. "You're such an asshole Nic."

The security cam slide appeared at the corner of the screen and a woman was in my living room.

"Excuse me guys, I have a guest."

"You never have any guests, unless it's..."

"Bye bye." I ended the video call before Trent, the teaser could finish and hopped out of my seat heading for the living room.

Apparently, she was looking around when i got there. I took the liberty to feed my eyes at the sexy creature wearing red. Her red outfit made her stand out in my house that had every interior designed as just white.
