Prologue

Author POV

"Okay Lila. You can stop bothering me now. I'm writing this like you begged me to for the past few months."

Third-Person POV

Chaeyoung had a very bad life. Many things went wrong. Let's start from the beginning.

Ever since she was born, her parents insulted her and called her a mistake everyday and would sometimes beat her when she does somthing wrong or they are angry.

"Chaeyoung!! Why can't you do anything right?! We never should have had you!! YOU'RE SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT!!" Her mom screams after Chaeyoung had accidently knocked over a chair.

But she still loved them and would accept their insults and beatings. Then, when she was 5, her mom died in an accident and her dad became even more abusive and would beat her more and stay out drinking. Two years later, he committed suicide his last words being that Chaeyoung was a mistake and that he hated her.

Chaeyoung cried so much for parents that hated her and vowed that day to be nice to everyone to make sure that they didn't hate her like her parents.

She was taken in by a family who was just as abusive as her last one except they sexually abused her but she still tried to love them as much as she loved her parents.

A year later, they died in a plane crash after attempting to leave her.

She was sent to an orphanage where she was bullied by the other kids and sexually abused by the owner of the orphanage. 

She made a friend there who stuck up for her and tried to protect her. Later, the friend said they hated her and only protected and hung out with her out of pity and left her.

When they left, her abuse doubled and she was covered with bruises everyday and malnourished.

Two years later, another family took her in and this one was a rich family. They weren't abusive and never said any harsh words to her. In fact, they almost never talked to her at all. She was raised for two years by a nanny and saw her foster parents about 4 times a year including her birthday. She went to a school and made two friends who were really nice to her.

One of her friends and her started dating and were inseparable until around the end of the school year in which she caught him cheating on her with her other friend and he said he never loved her and had been cheating on her since they started dating.

After that heartbreak, she vowed to never be involved with a boy in a romantic relationship ever again. It was also the cause of her first suicide attempt and luckily, her nanny caught her before it was too late.

Then, in seventh grade, she transferred to a new school and made two new friends, Dahyun and Tzuyu. 

Chaeyoung started dating a girl and she became so happy and bright that year but the girl broke up with her later and said that she never loved her and left never to be seen again.

Chaeyoung cried so much after that, that she attempted suicide 3 more times. The first two times her nanny caught her but the third time was almost successful if Dahyun hadn't followed her to the rooftop.

After that, she saw a therapist who helped her a little and she began to feel better.

Then, her foster parents never showed up for her birthday that year and she became extremely depressed and tried 2 more times to committ sucide that year.

Her visits to her therapist doubled and she was temporarily allowed a break from school in order to improve her mental condition.

Chaeyoung survived her first rapist in the summer of that year as she had started to grow into a beautiful young woman. For reasons unknown to anybody but Chaeyoung, her rapist was unsuccessful and never got as far as kissing her. He had turned himself in and admitted everything and said that he felt a huge fear of what would happen if he didn't.

She experienced three more rapists during her eigth grade year but they all ended up like the first, they turned themselves in and stated that they feared what would happen if they didn't turn themselves in.

After each rape attempt, she tried to committ suicide but she was prevented three times by her nanny and friends. Her fourth attempt, it was assumed she stopped herself although someone said that she was clearly seen jumping off of the building.

Then, she was involved in an accident and she lost most of her memories which resulted in her adopting a happy and bubbly personality.

But Chaeyoung had been protected by her guardian before this. 

It all started after her break-up with her girlfriend.

Chaeyoung POV

I sobbed as I ran down the street.

I didn't know where I was going but I didn't care. I just needed to get away from there. That school. Everything that reminded me of her.

I collapsed in the middle of the street and sobbed loudly.

I couldn't care less if anything hit me. In fact, I wanted them too. I was so worthless, I made another person hate me and it was all my fault.

I saw that I was near a cliff.

I walked towards it and looked down to see trees far down at the bottom.

I smiled.

Mom. Dad. I'll see you again.

I jumped but it didn't go exactly the way I planned.

A strong wind suddenly came out of nowhere and pushed me back into a cave.

I got up and realized I was unharmed.

I was about to jump again when I heard a voice calling me.

I saw a jar just lying there behind me.

I picked it up and examined it. 

I opened it after I realized the voice calling me was coming from inside.

A cloud of smoke came out and a figure emerged from the smoke.

I shrieked and jumped backward falling down.

The figure turned and looked at me turning into a person. 

"W-who are you?" I asked pointing my finger at her.

She regarded me before saying, "I'm Y/n."

Yep. Bad. I know. 

I just felt like writing a Twice fanfic all of a sudden.
