Y/n POV

I was seriously contemplating getting a wheelchair.

Seriously, the pain was really intense. Sana was really merciless.

I guess she really meant it when she said that she could make it last a year. I thought as I squirmed on my seat for the nth time today. I'm a goddess so why can't I just make this pain go away!!

I was sitting on a bench outside the school with some crutches next to me and a brace on my foot for my excuse why I couldn't really walk today.

I took another bite of my golden apple cursing Sana inside my head.

The pain lessened a bit but it still hurt a lot down there.

"Y/n!! Hellooooo!!" Chaeyoung yelled running up to me.

"Hey Chaeng!" I said smiling at her despite my pain.

She saw my crutches and looked at my foot shocked.

"W-What happened??" She said sitting next to me.

"I kinda twisted my ankle a lot more than it should be twisted." I said wincing as another wave of pain went through me.

"I thought you were a goddess." She said giving me a concerned look.

"I'm not the goddess of healing. That's her job." I said taking another bite of my apple. "Besides, there are some kind of things that even goddesses have a hard time recovering from like....things done to them by other goddesses."

"Like what?" Chaeyoung asked.

"Uhhhh.....hey how was your weekend?" I asked trying to change the subject.

She gave me a suspicious look but answered me anyway.

"I hung out more with Nayeon and ate some more strawberries with her." She said then she pulled out a box. "Here. I got you some this time."

"Thank you Chaeng." I said taking the box then looking inside. "Looks delicious. Where is Nayeon?"

"She should be here soon. She said that she was busy planning something with Tzuyu. Probably about helping out Dahyun and Jeongyeon." Chaeyoung said.

"Dahyun is still refusing to talk with Jeongyeon? That's a really long time to be angry. It's been a whole month since we got here." I said shaking my head.

"Well, Jeongyeon did leave suddenly and didn't contact Dahyun in the time that she was gone at all. Not to mention she wasn't there to protect me from Nayeon's bullying anymore and she had to watch me get beaten up almost everyday." Chaeyoung said.

"Why did you even forgive Nayeon so quickly? Don't you hate her for beating you all those years?" I asked.

She looked at the sky for a few seconds before smiling and turning back to me.

"I believe that the worst people are in the worst situations. They have no choice but to do the things that they do because they fell trapped. If you could just show them a bit of kindness, they will show you their true sides." Chaeyoung said smiling.

I stared at her for a while and she blushed and looked away.

"That's....thought provoking. I never thought about that way." I said thinking about something no someone.

"What is-" She was saying before I gave out a yelp as a huge wave of pain washed through me.

"Wh-what is it??" Chaeyoung asked frantically.

"N-nothing. Just...pain." I whispered clenching my fists.

I felt arms envelop me and I saw Chaeyoung was hugging me tightly.
