Chapter 5: New School

Chaeyoung POV

I woke up before the alarm this time and I happily skipped downstairs as I saw Auntie Jihyo making waffles.

"Oh sweetie. You're up early." She said.

"Yep! I'm excited because I'm going to a new school and I get to be there with Y/n and my friends!" I said giggling.

"I see." Jihyo said smiling. "Well, I'm almost finished so just set the table."

After I set the table, Auntie Jihyo put the pancakes down on my plate and I dug in.

"You're going to choke if you eat that fast." Jihyo said laughing.

"Mmmm mmmmphff mmsjjf mmmoffff." I said.

"You are too excited?" Jihyo said chuckling. 

I nodded vigorously before I ran upstairs and I got ready for my new school.

After I got dressed, I ran into the car and me and Jihyo started driving to our new school.

"Hey, you and Nayeon have a little date today." Jihyo said making me look at her in shock.

"Wait....is this one of those things where two people are set up in an arranged marriage?!" I asked shocked.

"What?! No! It's not actually a date. You'll just be hanging out with her at her place." She said. 

I sighed in relief and said, "Good. Because if I was getting arranged, I would have jumped out of this car right now." 

"Oh....uh...well I guess it's good then that you're not getting arranged." Jihyo said scratching her neck.

"Auntie...are you hiding something?" I asked giving her a look.

"Oh look sweetie. It's your new school." Jihyo said driving up to the school.

"Auntie. This discussion isn't over." I said giving her another look before I got off.

I looked around and I saw how big it was compared to my last school and I sighed happily.

Suddenly, I felt a cloud of confetti hit me straight in the face and I stepped backwards in surprise.

"What the-Jeongyeon?!" I said rubbing my eyes and looking at my friend.

"Yep! It's me!" Jeongyeon said putting her hands on her hip.

"Uhhh....haven't seen you in a while. Ever since, you transferred school I've only seen you once." I said. "Wait! Is this your school?"

"Yep! This is my school. Jeollanam-do Youth Principles High School." Jeongyeon said proudly.

"Huh. That's strange. We're in Gyeonggi-do." I said scratching my head.

"Oh...uhhh...that's because it was originally located there but it moved here and kept its name." She said chuckling nervously.

"Well anyway, be prepared to face the wrath of Dahyun. You haven't contacted her or met up with her for the past couple of months." I said putting my hand on her shoulder.

"Wait....she's coming here. And wait....why are you here?" She asked in confusion.

"Chaeng!!" Two familiar voices said and Jeongyeon grew extremely pale.

"Hey guys!!" I said laughing as they hugged me.

"New school! New life!" Dahyun said jumping up and down excitedly.

"Yep! Dahyun's been so excited this whole morning." Tzuyu said before casting a glance towards Jeongyeon and widening her eyes a few seconds later.
