Chapter 14: Solving the Eagle's Problem Part 4

Happy Birthday Kim Dahyun!! (This is a little late. Sorry.)

Dahyun POV

Yes!!! My own point of view!! Thank you!!!

"I meant Jeongyeon." Tzuyu said and my mood dropped.

"What about her?" I asked feeling irritated already just by hearing her name.

"You should give her a chance." Tzuyu said.

"She never gave us one." I said crossing my arms. "So why should I? Besides, she has exactly been trying hard to fix things."

"Because you keep pushing her away." Tzuyu said. "Just give her a chance. Please."

Tzuyu actually went over to me and got on her knees begging.

My eyes widened at her actions and I averted my eyes flustered.

"F-Fine! I'll try to give her a chance. Just stop begging. It feels weird coming from you." I said flustered.

She smiled and said, "Yes!! You agreed. I thought this would be way harder."

"What?!" I said. "So you planned this dinner as a way to persuade me to talk to Jeongyeon?
You think food will persuade me?!"

"Y-Yes..." Tzuyu stammered.

"Well, it is! Congratulations!! You found my weakness!" I said.

".....uhhhhh....okay?" Tzuyu said frowning.

Suddenly, Mina tapped Tzuyu on the shoulder and said that she was going to be using the restroom.

"Oh wait. I have to use the restroom too. I'll get back to you Dahyun." Tzuyu said getting up.

I was still annoyed but that didn't stop me from moving my eyebrows up and down and winking at them.

They blushed and Tzuyu said, "Y-You pervert!!"

"We're n-not going to be doing something like that!" Mina said.

"Oh yeah. Of course." I said winking at them. "Well, don't let me ruin your moment. Just remember not to be too loud."

Tzuyu smacked my arm and they both walked away blushing.

I chuckled at them and shook my head.

I waited for them for about 30 minutes but they still haven't returned.

"Jeez." I muttered. "Those two must really be going at it."

"Hey.....Dahyun....." A very familiar voice said.

I stiffened instantly and slowly turned my head to look at the person who spoke.

"Jeongyeon." I said coldly.

Jeongyeon POV

They just abandoned me here. I thought secretly clenching my fists. So this was their plan, huh? No wonder they brought up Dahyun earlier.

I glanced around the restaurant and I spotted Chaeyoung wearing a fake moustache and reading an upside-down menu along with the others.

"What do you want?" Dahyun said bringing me back to reality.

"Umm...uhhh...I....I want to talk." I said playing with my fingers and giving her a smile.

She stared at me for a while before she sighed.

"Fine." She said gesturing for me to sit down.

"Now I know you don't want to talk to me bu-wait what?" I said as I heard what she said.

Seriously!! I had this whole speech planned! I thought.

"Are you going to sit down and talk or do I have to leave?" Dahyun asked crossing her arms.

I quickly sat down in front of her.

After a few moments of uncomfortable silence, we both said, "I'm sorry."

We both looked at each other in surprise.

"You first." Dahyun said.

"I-I'm sorry. For what I did." I said reaching forward to take her hand but she pulled it back. "I w-was being selfish. I had an opportunity to have a new life and I took it. But as time passed, I realized that the new life I had obtained wasn't worth all that I had sacrificed."

I tried to take her hand again and this time I succeeded as I saw her tearing up.

"I realized that I left behind the most important person in the world to me. I realized that I already had everything I wanted. I was just too blind to see it. Dahyun. You are the love of my life. And I left you behind, discarded you like you were something I no longer needed. I feel so angry that I did that. I realized too late what I had lost. The person that I love with all my heart. You don't have to forgive me. In fact, I don't even want you too. I feel like such trash for leaving you. But I just wanted you to know...I'm sorry." I said letting go of her hand and looking down as tears fell from my eyes.

Dahyun grabbed my hand and looked at me with tears coming out of her eyes.

"I can't forgive you now." She said making me look down again. "But I know that eventually...I will forgive you. And I would do it again and again because I love you with all of my heart Jeongyeon. No matter how many times you would break me, cast me aside. I would always get right back up and forgive you because you are my everything."

She started sobbing and I went over and hugged her, sobbing too.

We stayed like that for a while as we kept sobbing.

Y/n POV

"Well that went swell." Chaeyoung said fixing her disguise. "I think that means they are on good terms again?"

"I suppose so." Mina said. "It looks like they are together again."

"By the way, why does no one seem bothered that two girls are crying their hearts out right in front of them?" Tzuyu asked glancing around.

"I thought you guys needed some help." Someone said coming up. "So I called a friend to help out."

I looked over and I saw a waitress looking at us smiling.

I felt immediate unease as I felt her power. I hadn't felt power like that since the last time I had been with Jihyo.

"Hi. I'm Alex." She said waving at us.

"Oh yeah. You're that waitress from before, right?" Tzuyu asked and Mina looked at Alex's face.

"Yep." She said giggling.

"Well, thanks for helping us out." Chaeyoung said smiling at her.

"They look like they're ready to place their orders." Alex said and walked over to them.

"Looks like my plan was a success. Just as I expected." Nayeon said flipping her hair.

Chaeoyung giggled at her while the rest of us rolled our eyes.

"They look happy." I murmured to myself looking at Jeongyeon and Dahyun finally having genuine smiles for each other again.

"Our disguises were good right?" Chaeyoung asked.

"Yeah. They were fooled completely." Tzuyu said.

Me and Mina just giggled at them as Nayeon, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu bragged at how good they were at making plans and disguises.
