Chapter 32: Nayeon's Party Part 2

Nayeon POV

I was driving us back and I could tell Y/n was glancing at me nervously.

Does Y/n have feelings for me? Or was I getting the wrong idea. I thought. I kind of figured out a while ago that I had feelings for Y/n as well as Chaeyoung. I was just wrestling with who I had stronger feelings for.

I turned my head so out eyes would meet the next time she glanced at me and she paled when I caught her gaze and Y/n quickly turned away.

So confusing. I thought.

30 minutes later

We arrived at Chaeyoung's house later than I thought due to some sort of accident.

We got out and walked towards the front door.

I got out the keys Jihyo gave me (Not Y/n).

"Why didn't I get the keys?" Y/n grumbled.

"Deal with it." I said rolling my eyes and sticking my tongue out at her.

Y/n's changed. I thought before we walked inside.

I locked the door behind me and called out, "Chaeng!!!! We're back!!!!"

I got out the extra strawberries that I got for her and walked down with Y/n to the living room which was completely dark.

"Chaeng?" I called out again.

"SURPRISE!!!!!" 

"AAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!" I screamed and did a roundhouse kick on the nearest person.

"OOWWWWW!!!" Sana said and collapsed on the ground.

Everyone stared at her rolling around in pain for a second before turning back to me and yelling, "Happy Birthday!!"

"W-What?" I said.

"Our Nayeonnie." My parents said walking forward.

"M-Mom? Dad?" I said my eyes watering.

"Happy Birthday." They said and gave me a present. "On this day, you were born and we have gotten the privilege of seeing you grow up into a mature and strong woman. May you continue to be mature and strong."

I teared up and hugged them.

Then, Dahyun and Tzuyu came up.

"Yeah. You know we used to hate you so much." They said making me gulp. "But we may have been wrong when we thought you were just a good-for-nothing scumbag. You've actually proven to be sort of a good person. So here. Happy Birthday." 

They handed me their presents.

"We still hate you though." Tzuyu said before walking away.

"Thanks?" I said.

Then, Jeongyeon walked up. 

"I don't really know you that much....but I did see that you changed a lot from what you used to be. And I thank you for that. I thank you for taking good care of Chaeng too after you used to beat her up everyday." Jeongyeon said before handing me a present. "To change I guess. Happy Birthday."

"Thanks Jeong. I'll continue to take care of Chaeng." I said smiling at her.

Then, Mina walked up.

"I, similar to Jeongyeon, don't really know you that much. Whatever I heard of you was from Tzuyu or Dahyun and they always said you were (Word too vulgar for this story). But I don't think so, I think you're a really nice person." Mina said before smiling softly at me. "Happy Birthday. Friend."
