Chaeyoung POV
I clung onto Nayeon's arm as I read off the list of groceries Jihyo gave us.
"So...first we need some rice, of course, pork, salmon, carrots, pickles, and chicken." I said.
"Hmmmm...." Nayeon said looking around. "I see the meat over there."
We walked over and saw huge rows of pork.
Our jaws dropped.
"W-Which pork are we supposed to get?" Nayeon said glancing at the list.
"I-It doesn't s-say. All it says is to buy pork." I stammered looking at the row of pork.
"Alright. Think." Nayeon said hitting her head with her hand. "What pork would Jihyo be telling us to get?"
"Hmmm......maybe that one." I said and we walked over to some pork bellies.
"Ummmmm.....I mean these are delicious but I don't think Jihyo meant these." Nayeon said.
"Mmmm.....okay that one then!" I said pointing with my small finger.
Nayeon giggled at me before grabbing the pork off the shelf.
"Maybe?" Nayeon said inspecting it.
She put it inside the cart and said, "Let's just buy the top five choices."
We inspected some more before throwing in two more premium pork into the cart.
"We still need two more." I said looking around and pouting.
"Aww! So cute." Nayeon said and kissed my cheek multiple times.
"Ahh! Nayeon!" I squealed blushing.
"Hehehe. Sorry. You were just too cute and I couldn't help myself." She said giggling.
I blushed harder and instantly detached myself from her arm before going over to inspect some more pork.
"Chaenggggg." Nayeon whined coming up to me and clung onto my arm.
"W-What?" I said still blushing form earlier.
"Those two." Nayeon said and pouted before pointing two pork on the top shelf.
I glared at her.
"Pwease." She said doing aegyo.
"You know I can't reach that." I said huffing and crossing my arms.
"I'll lift you." Nayeon said smirking.
"Hmm?!" I said with a shocked expression.
"Don't worry. I've been working out lately." Nayeon said proudly flexing her arm.
I giggled before shyly looking down.
"Okay. If you can lift me." I said touching my fingertips together.
Nayeon smirked before wrapping her arms around my waist and lifting me up.
I gave a small squeal as I was instantly elevated to where I could easily grab the pork.
I blushed before I grabbed the two pork and signaled Nayeon to let me down.
"Alright. It wasn't so hard. You were really light you know." Nayeon said smiling at me.
"Thanks." I muttered as I clung onto Nayeon's arm again.
She chuckled before we went off get the other items on the list.
We picked up a bag of rice, a bag of carrots and pickles, and some salmon and was going to the chicken aisle when someone came up to us.
"Hey Rose. I was looking all over you." A girl said smiling brightly at us.
"Uhhh....can you open your eyes? Because I'm sorry but we're not Rose." Nayeon said.
The girl opened her eyes and jumped back in surprise.
"O-Oh! S-Sorry!" The girl said bowing. "I was looking for my friend whose name is Rose and I guess I mistook you for her. I'm sorry."
"It's alright. Just make sure you check who the person before doing this again." Nayeon said smiling and the other girl said before running away.
"She's funny." I said giggling.
"Indeed." Nayeon said staring at me.
After a while, we arrived at the checkout aisle and we were about to pay for out groceries when I noticed the nametag on the cashier's outfit read Rose.
I looked up at her as she handed us our receipt.
"Let's go Chaeng!" Nayeon said gleefully and I skipped outside with Nayeon, but not before I turned back and saw that the cashier was gone. Replaced with someone else.
