Chapter 19: Jihyo's Predicament and Painting Part 2

Y/n POV

"No. Chaeng. Watch carefully. You have to do it like this." I said demonstrating to Chaeyoung. 

"Ohhhh! Okay! Got it!" She said making an ok gesture with her hand.

She proceeded to make some more strokes with her paintbrush exactly how I showed her.

"Yayy!" Chaeyoung shouted and pumped her fists.

"Wow. You got it so early. You're a fast learner." I said clapping.

"Wow. That's a nice sight to see." Nayeon said sarcastically right besides me struggling to paint.

"Yeah. Thanks!" Chaeyoung said oblivious to Nayeon's sarcasm.

She smiled brightly at Nayeon and Nayeon blushed and looked away.

"Y/n. Help me out here." Nayeon said loudly.

"Uhh.....what do you need help with exactly?" I asked looking at Nayeon's painting.

"Everything." She said bluntly.

"Oh...uhh....that's straightforward.....let me see." I said looking at Nayeon's painting again before turning back towards her.

"Alright. Give me your hands." I said to Nayeon and she hesitantly held her hands out.

I grabbed her hands and guided them onto the canvas.

"Try this." I said guiding them and painting some shapes.

"Thanks!" Nayeon said before painting some more things by herself.

"No. You're still doing it wrong. Do long strokes like this for that and soft and short strokes for that." I said guiding her hands again.

"Okay. Do I do it like this?" She said trying to do what I told her.

"Ummmm.....I think you should try this. You're still doing it wrong." I said showing her how to do it again.

Nayeon gritted her teeth and tried painting again.

"No. You're still doing it wrong." I said grabbing her hands again.

"Like this." She said with a noticably annoyed voice as she painted something else.

"You're still a little off." I said trying to grab her hand again but she suddenly got up and stormed off.

I frowned at her as she ran out.

Did I do something wrong? I thought.

Chaeyoung giggled.

"Nayeon is so cute when she's angry." She said.

"What about me?" I said pouting.

"I've never seen you angry so I wouldn't know." Chaeyoung said.

"True." I said. "But Nayeon was the one that proposed us doing this in order to cheer me up. Wonder why she's so angry."

"Maybe she's jealous that you're showing me so much attention." Chaeyoung whispered.

"What? But I helped her out a few minutes ago." I said frowning.

"Yeah. But you've only been helping me out besides that." She said giggling.

"Hmmmm....." I said frowning. 

Makes sense. She also likes Chaeyoung so she would feel jealous that I've been doing that. I thought until Chaeyoung said something that made me look at her sharply.

"I think Nayeon likes you." Chaeyoung whispered smirking.

"W-What?" I exclaimed. "N-No! That's not possible!"
