Chapter 6: A Date with Y/n?

Y/n POV

I was listening to the lecture when I heard a certain someone call my name softly.

Suddenly, my heart started to beat faster but I just ignored it and focused on them.

"What is it Chaeyoung?" I asked sweetly.

"I missed some notes earlier. Could you let me copy your notes? Pleaseee." She said pouting and doing aegyo.

I chuckled and said, "Sure thing Chaeyoung."

I handed her my notes and she smiled wildly.

I have to protect her. Especially from her past. I thought as I stared at her intently writing stuff down.

I thought she looked really cute with her tongue stuck out a little and nose scrunched up.

I couldn't resist and I pinched her cheeks smiling softly.

Chaeyoung let out a small squeal that was unaudible over the teacher's loud voice and glared at me.

"What was that for?" She said huffing.

I placed my hand on her cheek and started massaging it.

"I'm sorry. It's just that you looked so cute I couldn't resist." I said. "Does it hurt a lot?"

She blushed really hard and just shook her head before going back to copying my notes.

Meanwhile

Outside the classroom window

"Are they together?" Mina asked.

"Not sure." Tzuyu said. "I'm a 10000% sure that Chaeyoung likes her but I'm not sure about Y/n because she acts so lovey-dovey all the time with her."

"I guess we'll just have to wait and see." Mina said and Tzuyu nodded before they went back to running an errand for their teacher.

Back to Y/n and Chaeyoung

I smiled as I heard their conversations.

I don't like Chaeyoung in that way though. I thought and suddenly I got this weird feeling like my heart was telling me I was lying. What the-! No! I'm saying the truth!! Stop accusing me heart!!

"Y/n!!" A voice called and I felt soft hands cup my cheeks.

I snapped out of my thoughts and I saw Chaeyoung in front of me with a worried expression.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Class is over. I was calling you for about 1 minute already." She said shaking my head.

"Owwww!" I whined. "Stop it. I'm okay now."

"Well then let's go. I want to eat." She said.

"Let's go." I said getting up. "You can let go of my cheeks now."

She blushed and hastily moved her hands away from my face. 

"L-let's g-go. T-tzuyu and D-dahyun are w-waiting." Chaeyoung said hiding her face and turning around and walking away.

"That's the wall." I said as she bumped into it and fell down.

I rushed forward and caught her as she fell down.

"Hey. You're so clumsy!" I said chuckling. "Are you okay?"

She blushed again and turned her head away saying, "Y-yeah. Y-you can l-let go of m-me now." 

I realized our faces were centimeters away and I moved away and set her down on her feet.

"Well then, let's go." I said smiling and grabbing her hand.
