Chapter 27: The Rescue

Third-Person POV

Suddenly, all the lights in the tunnel turn off.

W-What's going on? The boss thought panicking.

He pulled out a pistol and yelled, "Who's there?"

Suddenly, a light turned on at the end of the tunnel.

Three figures appeared under it but were too far away to make out their features.

"Who are you?" The boss shouted at them.

Suddenly, the light turned off and a light that was closer to us turned on revealing them underneath it still staring at us.

Fudge. The boss thought.

Chaeyoung POV

I stared in fear as the figures started getting closer as light after light turned off and on. The whole time not moving.

"Get in the car. Now!" The boss shouted and ran towards the car while me and Sejeong were hauled onto our feet and forced inside the car.

I glanced towards the figures as they appeared again and I saw they appeared to be looking at me.

I frowned.

They feel familiar. I thought before I was shoved into the car.

The car started to drive backwards before it stopped abruptly.

"W-WHat the-" The boss said before two lights above us turned on and there were six shadowy figures surrounding us.

Everyone stared at them paralyzed in fear.

Suddenly the lights went off and a huge wrenching sound was heard.

The car was ripped into two and the halves separated before hovering in midair.

I shivered as I gripped onto my seat tightly.

Suddenly, the boss and the two women were thrown to the ground and then forced to levitate by some force.

I looked at Sejeong with wide eyes.

Suddenly all the lights in the tunnel turned on and I heard a knock on my door.

I flinched and glanced towards the door to see two familiar faces causing tears to trail down my face.

"Hey princess. We're here to rescue you." Y/n said with a smile.

"You're safe now baby." Nayeon said smiling brightly.

I opened the door and stepped out into their arms and started crying.

The car half I was in fell to the ground and tipped over with a loud sound.

I shrieked and jumped and they just held me tighter.

"It's all right now." Nayeon muttered into my neck.

"You're safe." Y/n said rubbing soothing circles into my back.

I started sobbing loudly as they tightened their hold on me.

We were like that for a while, just the three of us. Holding each other and reassuring the other that they were safe.

Jihyo POV

Me, Chaeyeon, Somi, and Chaeryoung walked over to the three people I was restraining.

"Somi. Get Sejeong." I said glancing at her.

Somi pursed her lips and looked at me with an expression that said that she wanted to say something before sighing and walking over to the naked girl with a blush.

I moved the three people so we could their faces more clearly.

Chaeyeon and Chaeryoung gasped while I widened my eyes.

"Irene.......Lisa?" I said not believing what I was seeing.

They stared at us with cold, emotionless eyes.

"W-Who are you?" The man demanded.

"Oh sorry about this but I'm going to have to shift through your mind." I said and placed my hand on his head while frowning at Irene and Lisa who were still staring at me with emotionless eyes.

Chaeyeon and Chaeryoung went over to them but just frowned when they touched their heads.

"We don't feel anything. I-It's like.........they don't have an essence." They said looking at the two.

"Hmmmm......" I said as I casually shifted through the mind of the man who screamed in pain.

Then, I suddenly felt a cold presence wash over me and I saw Lisa and Irene just vanish and I encountered an exponential increase in the difficulty of reading this man's mind.

"Not yet." A voice said lingering in my head.

I glanced at the others and saw they also heard it.

I glanced back at the man.

I had already gotten what I needed anyway. I thought and with a blink of my eyes, he was sent flying face-first into a wall.

Instantly, the walls of the tunnel swallowed him and restrained him.

"Who is your master?" I demanded glowering at me.

"I-I don't know." He said in terror.

"Are you sure about that? It seems you've communicated with them a lot." I said casually creating a huge hole in the wall next to his head.

He gulped and shook.

"I-I seriously d-don't know!" He shouted.

Tch. He's scared but think of all the people that he hurt. I thought before turning around.

"We're taking him." I said. "You gays are free to go if you want. Except you of course Somi. You still need to help out Sejeong."

I glanced at her to see Sejeong now fully clothed and clinging tightly onto an uncomfortable Somi who nodded reluctantly.

I walked over to Chaeyoung.

Y/n POV

After a while, we pulled apart from the hug and me and Nayeon smiled at Chaeyoung who blushed before looking down.

"Thanks for saving me." Chaeyoung muttered clasping her hands together causing me and Nayeon to squeal.

"Are you alright sweetheart?" Jihyo said rushing over and examining Chaeyoung.

"Did they do something to you? Did you do something you didn't want to do? Did they hurt you? Why are you wearing a lingerie? What happened? T-" Jihyo asked rambling before Chaeyoung hugged Jihyo tightly.

"You don't need to ask so many questions." She said smiling. "They didn't do anything to or hurt me. I was forced to wear this lingerie by them."

Lingerie? Me and Nayeon thought before we looked down at Chaeyoung's beautiful body and saw her wearing a very revealing lingerie.

I widened my eyes and turned around while Nayeon continued staring shamelessly.

"Nayeon!" I whisper-yelled at her. "Turn around!"

"Why? I know you like it too. At least I'm not hiding it." Nayeon whispered back.

"Nayeon what are you doing?" Jihyo asked in a scary voice while the air suddenly chilled.

Nayeon paled.

"Help me Y/n!" She said while running away from Jihyo.

Me and Chaeyoung just laughed as I took the opportunity to check her out.

"I can read your thoughts Y/n!!" Jihyo yelled and I widened my eyes before hiding behind Chaeyoung.
