Two Idiots In Love - Reddie

Chapter 10

Richie's POV

I arrived at Bill's house at 12pm. I got off my bike going over to where the other bikes are and left it with them. I went over to the front door, knocking on it. A moment later Bill appeared at the door smiling at me and letting me in. He said that they were all in the living room. 

I made my way to the living room with Bill walking behind me. So far only Bill, Stan, Ben and Eddie are here. I went over to the sofa and sat next to Eddie, dumping my bag on the ground next to me. I looked over at Eddie smiling at him, which he returned. I then looked around at the others.

"Hey guys!" I enthusiastically say looking round at them then stopping back at Eddie with a huge smile on my face. They all say hi back to me while Bill sits next to Stan on the floor. Ben is on the other end of the sofa with Eddie in the middle. We all start talking to one another for awhile. Then Mike turns up a few minutes later sitting on the chair next to the sofa, a few minutes after that Beverly arrives sitting between Eddie and Ben.

We then talked and played a few games for a while. When it got to 5pm we all got hungry and decided to order pizza. When they came we all situated ourselves in front of the TV. Bill, Stan, Bev, Ben and Mike all sat on the sofa in that order while me and Eddie sat in the love seat next to it.  

"Alright so what are we watching?" Mike said getting up and going over to the DVDs next to the TV.

"How about a horror?" Bev suggested.

"The Shining?" Mike asked holding the movie up. Everyone agreed, so he put the disc in the player, set the box down and went back to his seat.

We all settled down in our seats with our pizza and watched the film. When it ended Bill got up taking everyone's plates into the kitchen, when he came back he went over to the player swapping the disc out for another movie. We all decided on Cujo. Bill put the disc in and went  back to his seat on the end of the sofa. 

About half way through the film, Eddie snuggled up more into my side. I look down at him and see he's a bit on edge from the movie, so to calm his nerves I wrap my arm around his shoulders pulling him closer so that he's more into me. He instantly relaxes by the action and lets me move him closer. The look on his face tells me that he's calmer so we stay seated like that throughout the rest of the film. 

We decide to watch one more film before we head up to bed. We put The Lost Boys on and settle down more into our seats to watch the film. By the end of the film Bill has his head resting on Stan's shoulder, Bev is snuggled up to Ben and Mike is splayed out on the end of the sofa. Somewhere in the middle of the film Eddie lay his head on my chest and I rested my head on top of his. We were all content in where we were sitting and stayed like that through the whole of the credits but then Stan got up, turning the TV off and instructing all of us to get up and go to bed.

Reluctantly we all started to move and made our way up to Bill's room. Bill is sleeping in his bed and the rest of us are in sleeping bags dotted around the room. Stan is on one side of Bill's Bed, Bev and Ben are next to each other at the end of the bed. Mike is close to the door and me and Eddie are next to each other on the other side of the bed away from the door.

We all brush our teeth and use the bathroom before settling down under the covers of our sleeping bags. Bill turns his lamp on and the main light off, he sits up in bed waiting for everyone to get settled before lying down and turning the lamp off. We all talk for a bit until we each drift off to sleep.

The next day.

I slowly open my eyes and the first thing I see after I put my glasses on is Eddie asleep in the sleeping bag next to me. He looks so peaceful and cute. I stare at him for a few seconds before I sit up and look around the room to see if anyone else is awake.

From the looks of it everyone else is still asleep. I look over at the clock and see it's 8:20am. I decide to take advantage of it and head to the bathroom, doing my morning routine then going back to Bill's room to lie back down.

I lie there for quite awhile studying Eddie's features before I see his eyes flutter open. He blinks a few times, then his eyes lock onto mine.

"Morning Eds." I softly say so only he can hear me. I smile at him as I see a dust of pink form across his cheeks.

"Morning Rich." He smiles at me in an equally soft voice. "What time is it?" I look over at the clock and see it now says 8:45am.

"It's 8:45am." I answer.

"Have you been up long?"

"Not too long. I woke up at 8:20am."

"Oh okay. I thought you had, you smell strongly of mint." he says smiling at me.

"Yeah, thought I'd take advantage of it before anyone else woke up." I say grinning at him.

"That's a good idea." he says while sitting up. I sit up as well still looking at him. "I'll be right back, might as well go to the bathroom too." he says with a smile before getting up and heading out of Bill's room.

I know this is a weird way to end it, I just didn't want it getting too long. To be continued in the next chapter...
