Chapter 25

Richie's POV

As I'm staring at Eddie's lips, I feel my head slowly move down closer to them.

When I'm about a centimetre away from him, he closes his eyes as I close the gap between us.

My chapped lips press against his soft ones.

I feel my whole face heat up as I get lost in kissing Eddie, moving our lips in time with each other.

I move my hands up to his face and hold him as I feel him rest his hands on my hips.

I can't believe this is actually happening! I'm kissing Eds!

We eventually break apart to catch our breaths.

I lock my eyes with Eddie's as I feel a smile grow on my face. I notice Eddie's cheeks are also red and that he's smiling ear to ear.

"Wow! I can't believe we just kissed!" I say while still catching my breath. "I've wanted it for so long, but I didn't know that you felt the same way!"

"Me neither. I always thought you were just joking." Eddie says not moving his eyes from mine.

"No way Eds! It was all true! You really are the cutest little bundle of Spaghetti!" I say, leaning back down for another kiss.

The first kiss was mainly shock while this one was different, it was more passionate. I wrap my arms round his waist while his hands move up to my neck, entangling them in my hair.

We kiss for longer as we don't want it to end.

When we finally do break apart I rest my head in the crook of his neck and hold him in my arms. I notice that our legs are now tangled together and I'm half lying on top of Eddie.

"So, what does this mean?" Eddie questions while playing with my hair.

I move my head to the side so I can speak and say, "It means that I like you Eds. A lot."

"I like you a lot too Richie." he sweetly says while wrapping his arms round my shoulders and nuzzling his face in my hair.

We stay like that, wrapped in each others arms. Just enjoying being close to one another, now knowing that we feel the same way for each other.

My eyes start feeling heavy, they slowly close as I drift off to sleep in pure bliss.

Two hours later

Eddie's POV

I wake up and look down to see that Richie's still lying on top of me.

I can't believe he feels the same way. I've never felt happier!

I start running my hands through his soft curls again. I've always wanted to touch his hair, it always looks so fluffy and always bounces when he moves his head.

I look over at the clock and see that it says 8 pm. We slept for two hours and somehow that was the best sleep of my life.

I feel Richie start to move so I look back down at him and see him lift his head off my chest and lock eyes with me.

A soft smile graces across his lips and I feel a smile of my own form.

"Hey Spaghetti!" he joyfully says. I giggle at him while still playing with his hair.

"Hey Rich!" I blissfully say back. "Had a good sleep?"

"The best!" he says with a grin before he leans towards me and kisses me.

I pull him closer to me as I kiss back.

We pull apart and just smile at each other.

He turns his head to look at the clock. "Whoa! Do you want to watch a movie or something seeing as we've had a long nap?" he says with a chuckle as he looks back at me.

"Yeah! A movie sounds good." I respond, grinning at how cute he is.

He leans forward and kisses my forehead before pulling away from me and going to the TV.

I feel myself blush as I sit up and move further back on the bed.

He pulls out a movie and slots it into the player before rushing back over to me and jumping on the bed.

He wiggles himself to the back next to me and pulls me onto him, wrapping his arms round me.

"What are you doing?" I say through a giggle.

"I missed you!" He says as he kisses the top of my head.

"You were gone for a second, and it was only over there." I say pointing at the TV, with a smile still on my face.

"Yeah, but now that I can freely cuddle with you, I don't want to miss a single second of it!" he says in a daft voice that also sounds genuine.

"I can't argue with that." I say while locking my hands with his which are round my waist. "Anyway, what are we watching?"

"Something special." he says with a mischievous grin.

"Which is?" I question while prodding his arm.

"You'll see." he singsonged while quickly pressing play on whatever it was.

I look back at the TV and about two minutes in I recognise it!

"Is this The Princess bride?!" I exclaim while looking back up at him.

The huge grin on his face indicates a yes. "I thought it was perfect to watch now."

"Your good taste proceeds you." I cheekily say while looking back at the TV.

He snuggles his head on top of mine as we lie there in bliss, watching the film.

Richie's POV

When the films ends, I turn the TV off with the remote and stay snuggled up with Eds for a little while longer.

"Do you want to get ready for bed now and when we're both done combine our sides of the bed to the middle?" I ask him while leaving a sweet kiss on his temple.

He giggles in the cutest way before moving his head to the side and looking up at me.

"Sounds good." he says while slightly leaning his head up to me and closing his eyes, I close mine and meet his lips with my own.

We share a sweet kiss before Eddie pulls away and out of my embrace. He gives me one last smile before leaving the room.

My eyes linger on the door before I get up and get ready for bed.
