Two Idiots In Love - Reddie

Chapter 30

Richie's POV

After a while we all got tired of swimming and decided to relax and talk for a bit before we all went home. We dried ourselves off and got changed before we went and sat in our usual places. When I sat down I pulled Eddie on to me so that he was sitting between my legs so I could wrap my arms round his small frame.

We broke off into different conversations with one another. Eddie was talking to Stan and Bill about something as I played with his hair, not really paying attention to what they were saying, to caught up admiring Eddie's soft locks.

Then I got an idea which would most definitely annoy Eddie but also make him blush, so I didn't give it a second thought when I started peppering kisses up his neck to his cheek and back down again.

He abruptly stopped talking about whatever and slowly turned his head to face me, making me stop what I was doing and look at him with a smirk. He was trying to look annoyed but his cheeks had turned bright red, making him look quite cute and not as threatening. 

"What are you doing?" he whisper yelled to me.

"Showering my sweet Spaghetti boy with love!" I say with a grin as I leave a gentle kiss on his cheek.

"Well, stop it!" he tries to say in a stern tone but with a soft smile breaking out on his lips.

"Are you sure about that?" I ask, raising my eyebrow at him as I move my head closer to his, making his blush deepen.

"Yes." he says in a small voice as I lean my forehead against his.

"No." he mumbles before connecting our lips for a sweet kiss.

"Look I'm happy you two are a couple, but could you not in front of us." Stan pointedly says to us, making Eddie break the kiss and whip his head round to him.

"Stan! They were having a moment!" Bev exclaims while giving Stan a look, to which he rolls his eyes at. "Carry on." she says with a smirk as she briefly turns to look at us before talking to Ben again.

Eddie chuckles slightly as he turns back to me with a soft smile.

"We can continue this later." he lowly says as he leaves a short kiss on my lips and turns back round, leaning back on me.

I smirk at him before wrapping my arms round his waist once again and jumping in on their conversation.

After an hour we all decide to go home so we got up and made our way through the trees, saying one last goodbye to one another as we ride off in different directions.

When we get home we lean our bikes round the side of the house and go inside to have dinner with my mum.

When we're done we go upstairs to our room and decide to play Mortal Kombat for a bit, seeing as it's been a while since we last played it.

I set the game up and sit down next to Eddie at the foot of the bed, handing him his controller. 

We played quite a few rounds, our elbows occasionally knocking together, which would throw me off at times, resulting in Eddie winning and loudly boasting each time he did while I gently nudged his shoulder and made some stupid joke.

Overall I ended up winning by one which Eddie started ranting about as I put everything away and helped him off the ground, guiding him to sit on the end of the bed.

I sat next to him as he turned to me still ranting about how he should have won, as I stare at him and suddenly remember something. 

I put my finger to his lips which got him to stop talking. "Not that I don't love your ranting, because I do. I just wanted to remind you of something we need to continue from earlier." I say as I move my finger from his lips and cup his cheek, pulling him into a kiss.

We pull back and Eddie looks at me with a cute little smile, "Oh yeah, almost forgot about that." he says with a smirk as he entangles his hands in my hair and pushes me back on the bed, continuing the kiss from earlier, but with more passion.

Time skip

We decide to watch some films up until bedtime, so I pick out a few and put the first one in before going back over to Eddie and wrapping my arms round him as he rests his head on my chest.

When it starts I immediately zone out and start thinking back on everything that has recently happened that lead me to being with Eddie.

It was only a few weeks ago that I was unknowingly crushing hard on Eddie and apparently, to some, not hiding it very well. 

I was so blind to the fact that I was in love with him, I thought it was normal to spend most of my time thinking about him and noting every detail of his adorable little face, and wishing that he was with me all the time.

Apparently not. 

Stan was the one that made me think about it all and made me realise that I am deeply in love with my best friend, I started to obsess over the little things that Eddie did, wondering if he liked me back.

Which he does!

Then I found out how horrible his mum was a day before she died and everything turned upside down. From then on I never once left his side for more then 10 minutes, comforting him and letting him know that he has me.

At night, whenever he was feeling sad or lonely, I would pull him into me and wrap my arms round him, letting him fall asleep in my embrace.

Then we kissed, and it was the best thing that ever happened to me. I finally got to be with the one person I love most in the world.

My mum and the losers showed us how great they are by supporting us as a couple when we came out to them and told them about us.

Sometimes I start thinking about it all, like now, and can't believe that all of this actually happened. I never thought that I could ever be so lucky to have Eddie like me back and also be the first one to say 'I love you'!

I look down at his sweet face and feel my heart race, I lean down and gently kiss his forehead, feeling my cheeks heat up and my heart swell with love as he looks up at me with a sweet smile before looking back at the TV.

Now that we're together I will never let anything bad ever happen to him again and I will give him all the love that he's always deserved.

I lace my hands with his as I feel myself relax more, I look up at the TV and absentmindedly watch the movie, not caring that I've missed most of it, just happy to be with Eddie.

A/N -Hi guys! So this is the last chapter of my first Reddie fic, I hope you all enjoyed. It was fun making this, sorry if all the fluff towards the end was annoying, but I hope you liked it none the less. 

Anyway I'm going to be starting a new Reddie fic after this because I love them. It will include Pennywise this time. I'll also be posting some Reddie Oneshots every now and then so stay tuned for that if you're interested.
