Two Idiots In Love - Reddie

Chapter 21

Richie's POV

We arrive at my house and get out of the car, making sure we all have our bags, we go inside and my mum tells us that she will start making dinner in about an hour. 

Me and Eddie go up to our room, dumping our bags by my desk and laying on our sides of the bed.

"So we can either decide where we're going to put your things or we can watch a movie before we go down for dinner, your choice." I say while turning on my side and facing Eddie.

"Movie, definitely." he says, turning his head to look at me.

"Anything in particular?" I ask, not really bothered about what we watch.

"Maybe a horror?" 

I get up and go over to the TV and look through the horror films I've got. I end up choosing Child's Play. I put the disc in and go back over to my side of the bed and sit down with my back against the wall.

Eddie sits up as well and moves closer to me. I play the film and we lie there watching the film. After about half an hour, Eddie moves down a bit and rests his head on my shoulder.

I start thinking about how I'll get to spend everyday with Eddie and I feel my heart start to race at just the thought of it. I think Eddie notices because he moves his head up and looks at me.

"Are you alright?" he asks.

"Yeah, I was just thinking about everything and it's going to be so fun having you live here. It'll be like a permanent sleepover." I say, a huge grin making it's way on my face.

As I'm saying it, I see a smile break out on his face. He shakes his head a little bit and once again rests his head on my shoulder.

I look down at him and see that he's still smiling with a slight dust of pink on his cheeks.

"Yeah, it will be great." he says, which just warms my heart.

I rest my head on top of his and look back at the TV. My heart swelling with love.

Time skip to after dinner

"Okay, so tomorrow we can start organising where we can put Eddies's stuff, like his wardrobe and bed and everything." Maggie says.

"Well to save space, Eddie can share my bed. If you want?" I ask turning to Eddie.

"Yeah, I don't mind. It will save space and I share your bed when I sleepover anyway." he says, his cheeks turning pink.

"Well great. We can do that then." my mum says with a smirk. "We can talk about where we can put the rest tomorrow."

"Alright, well thanks for dinner mum." I say standing up and pushing my chair in.

"Yeah, thanks Maggie, it was lovely." Eddie says also getting up from the table.

"Your both welcome, have fun." my mum says with a smile while she collects the plates up.

We go back upstairs to our room and watch a couple of films while lying in bed.

Time skip to 9 pm

When the movie ends I look at the clock and see that it says 9 pm. I look down at Eddie on my chest and see that he's starting to drift off to sleep.

"Hey, Eddie. Why don't you get ready for bed while I find your PJ's in your bag?" I softly say to him, gently nudging his arm.

"Yeah, okay." he says while slowly lifting his head up and getting off the bed.

When he's left the room I go over to his bag and place it on the bed. I dig around in his bag looking for them, I pull them out and underneath them I see a few photos.

I put the clothes down and pick up the photos. The first one is all of us together. Mike is the furthest on the left followed by Ben, Bev and Bill all smiling at the camera. Stan is standing next to Bill looking at us with a smirk on his face. Then at the end is me and Eddie. I was pulling a silly face and Eddie was laughing at me with his hand on my arm.

I look at the next photo and it's me and Eddie being goofy. The next ones after that are all of me and Eddie. I can't believe he packed these. He said he was only packing the essentials before we moved the rest of his stuff here.

He looks so happy in these photos, it warms my heart and I feel a smile make its way onto my face. 

All of a sudden Eddie appears next to me looking over my shoulder.

"Oh hey, I found these under your PJ's." I say moving to the side so that I can face him properly.

"Yeah, I didn't want to leave them behind." he says with a small smile while his cheeks start turning red.

"There's a lot of you and me in here." I say looking back at the pictures.

"Yeah, I took the ones that remind me of the happy times in my life." 

"And I make you happy?" I say in sarcastic tone.

"Yeah. You do Rich." he calmly says while locking his eyes onto mine.

I feel my whole face heat up and I just stare at him, lost for words. He laughs at my reaction in the most adorable way that it makes me feel even more flustered. He then leans towards me and puts his hand on my arm to steady himself.

After a couple of minutes he calms down and looks back up at me still beaming.

"You're so cute sometimes." he fondly says while shaking his head.

"W-w-what?" I stutter out.

"I said you're cute." he says not breaking eye contact. "You say it to me all the time, I'm just letting you know that it's a two-way street." he says, finally letting go of my arm and walking over to his PJ's. My eyes follow him as he goes over and picks them up.

"Anyway its your turn in the bathroom, so go so I can get changed." he says walking back over and pushing me out the door.

When I'm on the other side he closes the door and I make my way to the bathroom. When I get in there I close the door and look at my reflection in the mirror.

Eddie thinks I'm cute!!!
