we just finished our food and we start heading to the garbage to throw away our stuff. as we head there, there's this group of fine ass guys. me and mariah look at each other and just laugh

daniel's pov

we finally make it home a shit ton of traffic while jack and zach were fighting so that was so fun. we put all of our groceries away

corbyn: don't forget to check for your wallet
daniel: thanks for reminding me

so i start looking for my wallet. the living room. my room. zach's room. jack's room. jonah's room. corbyn's room. all the bathrooms. the kitchen. everywhere. even in the guest house.

daniel: guys i can't find it. and you guys even helped me look. where could it be ??
zach: do you think it fell
daniel: maybe but where ?
jack: maybe at the mall ?!
daniel: shit it could be literally anywhere in the mall and literally anyone could've gotten it. i'm fucked
zach: you're not fucked maybe someone who is nice found it and tried to contact you
jack: or maybe that girl who you bumped into found it

jonah: first check your dms cause i feel lien that would be the first platform someone would contact you on
daniel: yeah true. but if i look through all my dms that could take hours.

so i went on my insta and i check my dms. i look through all the messages without opening them. i read the little thing. you know what i mean right?

it's been an hour now looking through all the dms

"hey i hope you see this cause it's really important..."

daniel: this one seems promising
jonah: then open it

"hey i hope you this cause it's really important. if you remember, i'm the girl that accidentally bumped into you and while you were leaving your wallet fell. i tried to yell for you but you were already gone. i promise i just looked at your license just to see who you are. i swear i didn't even look at anything else. so i don't know what you want me to do or where to meet you to get your wallet back. please get back to me. thank you"

zach: looks like we found our girl finally.
jack: seriously finally
daniel: okay what do i say ? i mean yeah i need my wallet but should we invite her over so i can talk to her more ?

i hand him my phone and he starts typing

corbyn: "ahh hi. thank you so much for finding my wallet. i've been looking all over for it. i trust you that you didn't look at anything else. um you can meet me at my place and chill for a bit if you want"
daniel: good. send it
corbyn: sent.
jonah: now we wait

we are walking back to my car once i get a notification. i check to see who it is and it's from instagram...!!

alex: OH MY GOD NO WAYYYY. he responded. he texted back. imma die
mariah: what did he say?????
alex: he said "ahh hi. thank you so much for finding my wallet. i've been looking all over for it. i trust you that you didn't look at anything else. um you can meet me at my place and chill for a bit if you want"
mariah: HE WANTS YOU TO HANG OUT WITH THEM OH MY GODDDDD
alex: i'm seriously about to die. what do i say?
mariah: here gimme your phone

i give her my phone and she starts typing

mariah: "hey of course i would love to chill for a bit. um i'm free right now if that's a good time to stop by. also im with my friend so is it okay if she comes with?"
alex: that's good. send it
mariah: it's now sent

not even 5 minutes later daniel replies

alex: he said " yeah of course she's welcome to come." and he sent his address
mariah; i cant believe this is happening
alex: me too bro. i texted him see you soon

right when i started the car i get a dm back from him, "be careful and see you soon 🤍"

alex: can you put the address ?
mariah: yeah and i'll aux on my phone

mariah starts playing music as i follow the direction to the why don't we house, it's so crazy for me to say that omg !
