mariah sees me staring at my phone cause i honestly don't know what to say

mariah: are you okay alex?
alex: daniel texted me if we can hang out. i told them we're at the spot and of course they don't know where and what that is so i explained to him that it's a hilltop. now he asked if him n the boys can come to the spot.
brian: isn't that good news?!
alex: yeah i guess but no one else has ever gone to the spot except you guys and you know who.
mariah: yeah i get it but this also could be a good chance to get to know to them even better and to change this place into a fun place you know
alex: brian is it okay with you tho??
brian: sure i would like to meet them if you might live right next to them and make sure they have good intentions. after what mariah told me it sounds like daniel likes alex and you like him back and mariah likes jonah and jonah likes her back. so i have to have a talk wit em.
mariah: really brian??
brian: yeah i have to make sure they're right for my sisters
alex: okay whatever brian just don't scare em
brian: hey i can't promise anything.
alex: okay lemme text him

alex💜: yeah y'all can come. i'm with mariah and my brother btw. when you get here just drive up the hill 
daniel🤩: okay we'll see you there in half an hour.
alex💜: okay be careful n stay safe

alex: okay they're coming in half an hour so let's just have fun.

i play the music and we're dancing. singing our hearts out

it's been around 20 minutes. and now we're sitting on top of the hood of my car. brian is on my left n mariah on my right. brian and mariah are laying their heads on my shoulders. it feels good. we're looking out at the view. it's so pretty. the sun just set n you see a bunch of stars. we stayed like that for 5 minutes until i heard a car in the distance. i know it's the why don't we boys. i start to get sweaty n my heart is beating so fast. brian could tell so he holds my hand to reassure me.

brian: you'll be okay. i know no one else had been up here except us but you're gonna be okay. i feel like y'all are gonna be good friends
alex: thank you brian.

i hear their car park a bit behind mine so i jump off the hood and i see all the boys spilling out of the car

zach trips on a rock while getting out and the boys start laughing which cause us to laugh too

zach: it's not funny. i tripped and none of you guys helped me
jonah: it's pretty hilarious
zach: shut up before i beat your ass
jonah: i'll like to see you try.

i start walking towards them and i went straight to daniel and hugged him

he smells good

then i hugged the rest of the boys

alex: so this is my brother brian
brian: hey
jack: you guys look exactly alike
brian: that's what siblings are
zach: yeah dumbass
jack: okay zach i'm not the one who tripped

i leave them go talk and i go to my trunk to get a couple of blankets

i set them on the floor and everyone sits down

i decided to sit next to brian and daniel sits in front of me

the whole time we were all talking, i would catch daniel staring at me

and that caused me to look away and blush

mariah and brian both gave me a look every time i would look away

20 minutes later

everyone is still talking but i decided to get up and put on music just so we can have something playing in the background

i look back to see everyone laughing and talking and it just made me smile

like i just met them today and i already feel like we're gonna be the best of friends

and even more with daniel

i went and sat on the hood of my car so i can look at the view and listen to the music

a couple of seconds later, i see daniel get up and sit next to me

daniel: what you doing here ?
alex: i went to put music on and i saw all of y'all getting along and it made me happy so i wanted to watch y'all for a bit
daniel: yeah we are truly getting along
alex: like we all just met today but i can already feel like we're gonna stay in each other's lives you know ?
daniel; that's what i'm hoping for

i smile at him

god he's adorable

the song changes and i roll my eyes

alex: ugh i hate this song. imma go change it
daniel: don't leave me
alex: i'm just gonna change the song
daniel: but you're leaving me. like you're getting up.
alex: stop being such a baby
daniel: im a baby only for you
alex: are you flirting with me mr daniel seavey?
daniel: maybe i am maybe i'm not.
alex: so if i leave you won't act all sad?
daniel: nah im a big boy
alex: whatever you say

i get up but then again daniel pulls me back to him

daniel: see. big boy
alex: you're making no sense right now
daniel: okay whatever i just want you next to me at all times.
alex: so you are flirting
daniel: maybe
alex: good
daniel: alex ?
alex: yeah ?
daniel: you're gorgeous
alex: thank you daniel
daniel: i love hearing you say my name
alex: then i'll keep saying it
daniel: and i wouldn't stop you
alex: now can i go change the song daniel
daniel: fine but make it quick

i laugh and hop off and go into my car to change the song

i look out and smile seeing daniel

i go back to him and he pulls me closer to him and keeps his hand on my waist

i'm internally screaming

i look at the view of all the lights

alex: the view is pretty
daniel: i know right

i look him to see he's already staring at me
