IMPORTANT!! this chapter contains corey's passing. we all love and miss him

we sit down in the living room n start planning stuff for corey's birthday. we're gonna have drinks of course. it's wouldn't be a corey party if there ain't no drinks. n after we plan we just sit n watch tv or just talk bout life. then daniel comes up to me

daniel: can we talk?
alex: yeah
daniel: lets go to the backyard
alex: sure

we walked to the backyard n i sat down by the pool dipping my feet in. soon enough daniel follows me n does the same

alex: so?
daniel: how are you feeling?
alex: i'm good
daniel: no actually. it's just us two here so just tell me. how are you feeling?
alex: i'm doing better. i'll get there but i'm good.
daniel: any thoughts?
alex; actually no. surprisingly
daniel: that's good.
alex: yeah
daniel: alex i just want you to know that i'll always be here wit you n i'll never leave
alex: everyone says that n the only person who stuck by their words was mariah.
daniel: well you obviously met me n the boys n that will nerve happen again on our watch
alex: you're just being nice. i don't want pity
daniel: i'm not giving you pity. i'm being here for you
alex: but-
daniel: no buts.
alex: okay fine. i greatly appreciate that. thank you
daniel: wanna get back to the others?
alex: you can go i'll stay here a bit
daniel: nah imma stay.
alex: okay

he wraps his arm around me n we just sit there in silence. not awkward silence. it's comfortable between us.

time skip to 11:59 pm

everyone is at the place we chose. all his other friends. it's packed.

everyone: 5...4...3...2...1... HAPPY BIRTHDAYYYYYYYYYY

we all take a shot n gulp it down.

leena: HAPPY BIRTHDAY UGLYYYYYYY
corey: THANK YOU BITCHHHHHH

we all go on having fun n drinking. i didn't drink as much but that was my chose. i met sam and colby. kian n jc and all their friends. i've met a lot of people. n i also took a lot of pictures. i've been drinking water so i don't have a bad hangover so now i need to pee. i excuse myself from the others n head to one of the bathrooms.

i'm taking my sweet time until i heard a noise. a loud noise. it sounded like a car hitting something. so i try my best to hurry up n finish what i gotta do. then i run out of the bathroom

people seem scared n i see people crying. i try to look for daniel but i don't see him anywhere inside. same wit corey. i see the front door is open n i run outside to see.

a car crash. and i see daniel dragging out corey from the car. then i see crawford running after someone.

i drop to my knees n ball up n start bawling my eyes out.

this can't be happening. i cant lose corey. i cant lose a part of me.

i get tapped n i look up to see mariah. i jump up m hug her while we both cry. the ambulance just came n they brought corey in. i race back inside for my bag n grab my car keys so i can follow it to the hospital. daniel follows me to the car. so does everyone else wit their car.

we get it as fast as we can n i step on the gas. i don't car if i get a fucking ticket. i cant lose corey.

daniel: slow down please i don't want us to get hurt too
alex: im scared daniel
daniel: me too
alex: what happened?
daniel: they were gonna leave to go get something n we told them not to because they're both drunk. but they didn't listen n daniel crashed n yeah. daniel almost got away but crawford got him.
alex: i can't breathe. i think i might have a panic attack
daniel: we're 2 minutes away. so keep breathing.

i made it there in 30 seconds. i know i shouldn't be speeding but it's my best friend we're talking bout.

we get out of the car n race into the hospital. everyone meets us there n we've been waiting in the waiting room for what feels like years. everyone is crying to the point. where we can't breathe. soon enough the doctor comes out.

doctor: for corey

we all stand up

alex: so?
daniel: is he alive?
jc: is he okay?
kian: what's gonna happen?
doctor: i'm sorry to say but he didn't make it. he passed.

my heart dropped to my stomach.

" he passed"

that just keeps replaying in my mind as the doctor keeps talking just what happened.

i feel like imma faint. 

i feel like imma die

i want to die

i cant do this.

i grab onto a chair n i sit down trembling. mariah comes down next to me n we both start crying even more. the doctor leaves n everyone is crying. screaming. in shock.

alex: this is really happening
daniel: i can't lose him.

daniel runs up to the door n starts pounding on it. i run up to him n try to get him away

alex: daniel. daniel DANIEL. listen to me. we can't do anything. causing harm to you won't help. please. daniel.

he stops pounding n hugs me tightly as we both fall to the group crying into each other's shoulders.

it's been an hour

we have to leave the hospital. we were allowed to see him. i cried into him n i held his hand one last time. mariah had to pull me away.

i ran to the car crying into my steering wheel. daniel joined me after saying his final goodbye to corey. both crying

we all miss you corey and the stuff after was all fake don't forget
