part thirty three

daniel: so what do you guys wanna do?
alex: well it's 4:35 so it's not late.
mariah: what she means is that she's up for anything.
zach: wanna swim??
alex: ooo yes pleaseeeeee
jonah: okay go get ready n meet us back here.
mariah: you got it.

i take my stuff n we both head back to our place.

alex: do you think i can wear a swimsuit?
mariah: yes alex you can. you literally got hickeys by daniel. i think you can wear your swimsuit. you also wore shorts in front of em. you can trust em
alex: okay. thank you mariah
mariah: love you
alex: i love you more
mariah: not possible
alex: yes it is shut the fuck up
mariah: go change hoe
alex: you too bitch
mariah: whatever

we both head to our rooms. i picked up a plain black bikini. i put it on and look at myself in the mirror admiring what i see

got my towel n i didn't out any shoes on because we're only like a few feet away so yeah. i grab my phone n i open my door. at the same time mariah opens her door. we look at each other

alex: you look amazing as always
mariah: girl look at youuuuuuuu

hyping each other up as always. like we always do. cuz period. we head out n make our way to their pool. before we get to em mariah turns to look at me.

mariah: you got this okay
alex: okay. i do.
mariah: now that's my best frienddddd

we head it their pool n we see everyone in there. i make eye contact wit daniel n his mouth is wide open. do i look bad??

daniel's pov

i hear alex n mariah talking to i look that way. they walk in but my eyes are on alex the whole time. her body is amazing. not that has to do anything like personality over anything but she's gorgeous. her body is just no words. she has a little chub on her stomach n that's totally fine. it's cute. even if her body was different it still wouldn't have mattered.

end pov

we put our stuff down n i didn't hesitate to take another second of not being in the pool. i'm not those type of girls who would tan n never step foot in the pool. i'm the girl who wanna play mermaids wit other girls. you know. so i run n tuck my legs in.

alex: CANNON BALLLLLLL

i splash everyone there. soon mariah follows as i resurface out of the water. daniel swims to me.

daniel: i see that the hickey aint there anymore
alex: it's called a cold spoon. i see that yours ain't there either
daniel: also called a cold spoon
alex: mhm i see
daniel: also your body is amazing. not that body is all that. personality tops all of that.
alex: i have a stomach though. like i have chub.
daniel: so? why does that matter?
alex: really?
daniel: yeah. n plus it's cute.
alex: yeah right
daniel: n flat stomachs are overrated anyway
alex: that's one way to put it
daniel: see
alex: thank you. i was highkey stressing before i came
daniel: you never have to stress around me or the guys.
alex: you sure?
daniel: 100 percent sure
alex: okay

so we just swam. had chicken fights. did competitions n challenges. did obstacle courses. i know imma be sore for a while. as i always be. had fun. for hours. i felt like a little kid again. weird to say. i haven't felt this way in a while. i felt happy. purely happy. n it's amazing. an amazing feeling. i have a group instead of just mariah. which is fine. mariah has been my best friend since 2nd grade. so it's always been us. together. n by ourselves. but having guy friends is something else. guys never really talked to me from elementary school to high school. i stuck with the girls. now i have 5 guy friends who are amazing n happen to be my favorite band (other than one direction n big time rush). i don't think anything will happen with me n daniel. i have too many trust issues. n mental issues. just everything piled up is just too much. i cant. n i don't think daniel would want to anyway. he probably wanna hook up wit me n then nothing else would happen. that's why i don't give my trust to people that quick. i just can't. too many things will happen.

i get out the pool n grab my towel. i wrap myself n then i head back to our house so i can shower n change. i change into nike black joggers n a olive green tank top. cute right? i put my hair in dutch braids which took like an hour. hard work. i lay down on my bed. it's around 9:30 pm. i know we've been in the pool for a long time. i hear a knock on my door

alex: who is it?
daniel: it's me stoopid
alex: come in dipshit. it's not locked.

he opens the door n closes it. he doesn't say a word n gets close to me. close enough where i can hear him whisper

daniel: don't call me a dipshit if you ain't ready to scream my name

he winks at me n gives me his same old smirk. then goes the other way so he can lay down on the on the other side of the bed. he plops down n lays down next to me.

daniel: so what you doing?
alex: watching rags on youtube
daniel: like the nickelodeon movie?
alex: yeah
daniel: I LOVE THAT MOVIE
alex: NO WAYYYY
daniel: can i watch it wit you?
alex: of course.

i connect my phone to the tv n we start watching it. we soon start cuddling in the middle of the movie. i make sure i have my alarms set before my eyes become droopy. before i know it, i rest my eyes n drift off to sleep wit daniel's arms around my waist
