daniel's pov

i was just listening to her story. the story of her life. i feel so bad for her. i started crying. i just wanna protect her. from everyone n every thing. i hate seeing her like this. i wanna kill him. imma kill him. i don't care. at least imma beat his ass. just listening to her cry n tell the horrible things that happened to her makes me just so sad. i cant even comprehend how someone can do those horrible things to a person. i will never ever let that happen to her again. no one is gonna tell her that she's worthless. no one is gonna lay a hand on her. no is gonna do anything to her. i'll make sure of it. oh my god i'm so mad n sad n horrified. i just wanna- ughhh

after she was done telling her story she goes back to crying. i just hug her tightly. i won't ever let go of her.

daniel hugs me as i'm silently crying. i'm getting good at that.

i just can't anymore. i cant hold this. i cant live like this anymore. none of us said anything. got minutes. i let go from the hug n look at daniel. he has tears coming down from his eyes. i wipe them

alex: don't cry for me. it's not worth it
daniel: you are definitely worth it. i cant even come to say anything.
alex: you don't need to
daniel: all i can really say that i'm really sorry. i won't let that happen to you ever again. i'm not gonna let anyone touch you or say things to you or even get close to you. i will never do that to you. the boys won't ever do that to you. i'm sorry that you had to keep that in you. i'm sorry that even happened. i'm sorry for everything. you're absolutely strong n you are worth everything. you're amazing. gorgeous. i know you won't think that but you truly are. i cant explain how sorry i am. i just can't comprehend how someone can do that to the person they love or ever loved. alex that'll never happen again. n i'll make sure of it.

i didn't say anything. i just hugged him for the millionth time. we cried into each other's shoulders. after like 5 minutes of hugging his phone goes off in text messages n calls. he doesn't answer n kept hugging me but i stopped him

alex: answer whoever that is. you're fine

so he grab his phone n see that mariah is calling. he answers the call

daniel's pov

mariah: is she okay?
daniel: yeah she is. i calmed her down n she told me the story
mariah: of her ex?
daniel: yeah
mariah: where are you guys?
daniel: we're at the spot
mariah: can we come? like all of us

i turn to face alex

daniel: is it okay for everyone to come here or...?
alex: it's okay. they can come.
daniel: you sure?
alex: yeah i am

daniel: okay mariah you guys can come. tell me when you guys are coming up.
mariah: will do. we're leaving now.
daniel: be safe
mariah: you too

i end the call n look back to alex.

alex: i have to tell them the story don't i?
daniel: no you don't. you don't have to do anything
alex: but i feel like i should tell them. i owe them an explanation
daniel: again you don't owe anyone anything. if you're ready to tell everyone else then you're ready. but don't force something like this. it'll only make it worse.
alex: if i was ready to tell you then i'm ready to tell them
daniel: again it's up to you. you don't need to force anything
alex: i won't
daniel: okay good. i'll respect anything you do. n if you decide to tell them then i'll be right here next to you the whole time
alex: thank you
daniel: you don't have to thank me.
alex: but-
daniel: lets just chill n not talk. n calm down
alex: yeah okay

so that's what we did until they came. mariah texted me saying they're coming up the hill now. so we got ready for everyone to worry.

i see everyone coming speeding towards me. mariah was up first n she came running to me n hugged me. so tightly. i couldn't breathe.

alex: mariah-
mariah: sorry

then everyone else comes n gives me quick hugs. mariah looks at me n at daniel n back at me. i give her a quick nod n she smiles at me.

jonah: who was that guy david told us about?
alex: that was my ex. jacob.
zach: where is he now?
daniel: we don't know. but if i do figure where he is, i will kill him.
corey: i second that
everyone else: me too
alex: y'all i'm fine. but i do have something to tell y'all
mariah: alex you sure?
alex: yes i'm sure. so it all started when i met him. when i met jacob...

n i told them the whole story. i was crying again. so was daniel n mariah n literally everyone else.

alex: ...so that's the story on everything that happened wit me n jacob.
corbyn: wha-
jack: i don't even know what to say
alex: n you don't have to say anything
corey: alex i am so sorry. now i wanna kill jacob even more
alex: it's fine.
jonah: wow.
daniel: i know
alex: but enough of this sad shit. i had enough crying n other stuff.

i look at daniel n he gives me a sad look. he knows what i'm talking bout.

alex: lets go home n have a movie marathon
mariah: oh i'm so in
alex: wit everyone in their pajamas n all snacks n popcorn
everyone: lets do it
corey: we'll get the snacks. just you 2 go home
alex: okay be careful
mariah: you too

everyone gets up n heads to their cars. daniel gives back corey's keys n daniel comes with me. i was about to drive but daniel move done aside.

daniel: i'll drive
alex: you sure?
daniel: yeah
alex: okay just make sure you're comfy

i sit in the passenger seat n daniel starts the car n we head back home
