graduation day

it's been almost a week. i've been completely drained n numb. i called a vacation for work. i cant deal wit other people.

i've been staying in my room n going to the hill. i haven't been eating as much as i used to. i barely get sleep.

n fuck today is graduation. i don't even want to go but i have to. me n mariah have to. corey would want me to go

corey would want me to get my ass up n eat n not being sad bout him.

corey would want me to go to sleep so i can feel a bit of energy for graduation

so that's what i try to do n i guess it worked because now i hear my alarm blaring

10 am

i turn off my alarm n i go to the shower. i do what i have to do n i've been i there for 30 minutes.

i grab my grad outfit and put it on

we could have decorated our cap so i painted it blue n in black i put "blue for corey"

i style my hair as my natural curly hair. i get a good look at myself n i actually smile. that is the first time i've smiled this week.

i did it. i finally did it.

i open my door to see mariah right outside of my door

mariah: you look absolutely amazing
alex: i was about to say that to you
mariah: i know i look hot
alex: we both do
mariah: can you believe it?
alex: that we're graduating?
mariah: n that we stuck with each other since 2nd grade to now
alex: i thought you would've left me by now
mariah: never in a million years
alex: i love you
mariah: i love you
alex: we did this. both of us
mariah: yes we did indeed.

i get a text from my mom

alex: our parents are here
mariah: lets go

i grab my stuff that i need n i head downstairs. i grab mariah's hand n we walk outside together. everyone's eyes fixed on us. my mom starts crying n so does the rest of the family. same wit mariah's mom

mama: look at you
baba: both of you
mariahs mom: i can't believe it
brian: wow
alex: we finally did it.
mama: i'm so proud of you guys

i go up to them n hug my family. i whisper "thank you". i feel like imma start crying but i try not to. i don't have water proof mascara so not right now at least. i go hug mariah's mom as well.

alex: i'm gonna go inside n see the boys real quick.
mama: okay n then we have to leave in like 10 minutes.
alex: i won't take long

i run inside the boys' house. i only see zach in the living room

zach: you look amazing as always
alex: thanks zachy come give me a hug

i hug him tightly

zach: i'm proud of you
alex: thank you bubs. that means a lot
zach: daniel is in his room. go up to him
alex: okay

i make my way upstairs as i meet jack n corbyn. they both hug me

jack: looking good
corbyn: hey you did it
alex: thank you both

then jonah comes out

jonah: good job alex. we're all proud of you
alex: thank you. oh mariah is outside wit our families.
jonah: going down now
alex: have fun

i knock on daniels door

daniel: come in unless your zach

i don't say a thing n i open the door. he doesn't look up yet. he's shirtless. i fake cough n he turns around. his eyes are on me n my eyes are on his abs holy shit he's hot.

daniel: i- wow alex you're gorgeous. not like you weren't before but wow i don't even know what to say
alex: stop rambling
daniel: sorry didn't mean to
alex: you're cute when you have no words to say
daniel: n you cause me to not have any words

i walk over to him hit breaking eye contact n we pull each other into a hug.

daniel: i'm so proud of you. you finally did it.
alex: thank you dani.

we pull away from each other

alex: well you look hot without a shirt
daniel: take a picture while you're at it
alex: bet

i take out my phone n take a picture of him.

alex: i'm saving this picture forever
daniel: well you can have that picture in front of you at all times
alex: are you flirting wit me mr. seavey?
daniel: always wit you
alex: bold i see
daniel: if you call that bold then you don't know what bold is to me.

he pins me against the wall n brings hand to my neck

daniel: you okay? not bringing anything
alex: i never get those memories wit you

i shush him up by finally connecting our lips together. our first kiss.

our lips move together as he tightens his grip around my neck. wow i'm horny.

we pull apart n look at each other in the eyes.

daniel gets interrupted by someone knocking on the door

mariah: we need to leave now so hurry up.
alex: i'll leave you to it

i walk away from him n make my way downstairs wit mariah.

mariah: what happened in there?
alex: lets just say we shared our first kiss together
mariah: NO. FUCKING. WAY.
alex: yep
mariah: finallyyyyyyyy
alex: i know right

we laugh making our way outside. me n daniel got into my car. mariah n daniel got in her car. the rest of the boys got in their car as my family got into theirs. we have to leave now.

finally kissed after 4 months !!
