Chapter 27 The last attempt

"Good Afternoon miss Nakano, I hope that I didn't interrupt your daily tea party" Fukuda said as the lady opened the door.

"Oh, Fukuda san! No, absolutely, do you want to come inside?"

"Thank you ma'am, it won't take too much time..."

"Please, take a seat Fukuda san, may I offer you a cup of tea or a piece of cake? I must admit that the french patisserie is absolutely incredible, I remember when my mum told me about the first time she tasted one of those... biscuits from France as the great Joseon finally opened his eyes and started looking at the western world" Nakano said smiling

"Oh, thank ma'am but as I said... I will go away pretty soon, so... do you still have to keep this mask? Miss Park?" Akio said as he took one of the biscuits that were on the tabke next to his armchair

"What... what do you mean Fukuda san?" 

"I have to admit that you speak my language perfectly, I had to focus a lot before finding even the slightest shade of your accent.... miss Park... by the way you were right ma'am, these french biscuits are quite delicious." Fukuda said smiling like nothing was happening

"Fukuda san..." 

"Yes ma'am?" he said smirking as he noticed that her eyes were tearful, she fell in front of him, she grabbed his hands, she sobbed and cried

"I'm sorry Fukuda san... please help me... please..."

"Oh come on, are you going to act like you're a poor victim of the resistance as well? I actually don't blame you... I suppose that the japanese army wasn't so kind when we arrived in Korea... but is this the way you're going to stop this? Killing innocent people on a cruise ship!" Fukuda said as he stood up and pushed her hands away

"It isn't because of it! You have to believe me Fukuda san! They said that they were going to kill me! I had to obey!" the lady said still sobbing because of the terrible situation she was living

"Oh shut up! Why should I believe you?"

"They said that I had to kill lieutenant Suzuki Ryo before sinkijng the ship but I didn't! I'm sure you already know it! And I did it because I knew that you were going to believe your friend! Your best friend!" 

boyfriend actually Akio thought for a moment and chuckled because of it, then he immediately focused back on the situation and tried to find a solution

"Well, if you aren't a traitor... then you have to tell us where the bombs are, the police will protect you so that you don't have to think about the resistance anymore" Fukuda added

"Of course! I just need a few men to help me, there are ten bombs... it will take much less time if I'm not alone" she said, Fukuda nodded and took the phone that was on the desk

"Reception? I'm Fukuda Akio, as a delegate of the navy for the minstry of war I need the assitance of at least four officers, as soon as possible" then Akio looked at her and said

"They will wat for us in the reception hall..." 

"Perfect" she replied. They both left the cabin, a few minutes later the officers arrived and they all followed the korean lady to the cargo hold, she told them where the bombs were and after they sucessfully removed it they all went back to their respective cabin

"Akio! Oh thank God you're back finally... why do they have to be so loud? These Thai diplomats really don't know how to argue without moaning or shouting?" Ryo, who was now in Fukuda's cabin, said as he saw his boyfriend

"We both know that they weren't arguing..." Akio said ruffling his air

"Oh.... OH! So they're... well... wow, since it looks like you know them so much, would you please tell them to be a bit calmer? At night at least? I would like to sleep peacefully tonight" 

Fukuda looked at him, he threw the jacket on the chaise longue near the bookshelf and he slowly came closer to him

"What? The first night that you're back and you want to sleep? I thought you had some other kind of project in mind" 

"Like?" Ryo said smirking

"well... you ... me..."

"Are you sure you aren't tired honey?" Ryo said looking at Akio

"Oh come on... I don't have to do anything impossible... and since I didn't cheat on you my..." 

"...ass.."

"Exactly Ryo... it is waiting for you" 

"well... I suppose that it would be rude to let him wait for too much time, am I right?"

"You're always right dear... oh wait... don't you want something to drink?"

"Now? If you didn't notice I'm already undressing... do you think it would be a good idea to call for a bottle of champagne?"

"Oh come on... you weren't so disapponted when it happened in Hong Kong" Fukuda replied

"Yes, that's right, but that time it worked only because the waiter was young, hot and gay and he joined us for a threesome... and then you didn't walk for a whole day... I don't think that we would be that lucky this time" Ryo said as he was taking off his shirt

"Yeah... I think you're right..."
