"Candy! Hurry up," My sister called, waiting at the door.
"I'm coming," I say as I put my jacket on.
We are going to the store to pick up some groceries. I live with my sister, Ella. She's 6 years older than me. I just turned 19 last month. I moved in with her last year and our house is down the street from our parent's house. So it's convenient if we want to eat at our parent's house. As we drove to the store. I felt the sun rays against my face and it felt warm. The clouds were big and fluffy. I smile a little. Ella was too busy driving that she didn't notice. I like the sun. It makes me smile. The store is 15 minutes away from our house.

Ella then looks at me and says, "get only what we need." I say okay looking away. Ella is responsible and always takes care of me. She pays for the rent and groceries and bills and basically everything. She's like my second mother. I'm a college student, in my first year. It's been so stressful. School is fun, but doing homework is not.
As we step into the store, everyone stares at my sister. My sister is gorgeous. She has a nice body and her outfits are always on point. I'm happy that people are interested in my sister but felt creeped out at the same time. My sister currently doesn't have a boyfriend. She broke up with her ex-boyfriend 2 years ago. She loved him a lot, but he cheated on her. Now she is afraid of loving again. She doesn't tell me but I know.
"Candy, go get salt and pepper, don't get anything else." She added.
"I know," I say. "I'm on it."
I walk past three aisles and finally found the spice aisle. I then bend down because the salt and pepper are on the bottom shelves. I grab the biggest bottles of each and got up.
I bumped into this guy.
"Oh, I'm sorry!" I say.
I accidentally dropped my salt bottle also. I then bend down to grab it. This person also bends down to help. He hands me the salt bottle.
"Thanks," I say.
I finally look up, our eyes met. His eyes were a brown color.
Everything went in slow motion. Is this what love is? I thought.
"How long are you gonna stare for?" He asks.
"Oh sorry, thanks," at this point I'm blushing and smiling widely. He looks at me, smiles, and walks away.
I get up and it had felt like the sun landed on my head. I can feel myself burning up. I look around and hurry to find Ella embarrassed.
