(That night)
His grin flashes through my head. I'm smiling like a freak. He was so cool-looking, he was so handsome.
"Candy, you have class tomorrow?" Ella asks while washing her face in my bathroom.
"I have a class at 9-10:30, why?" I then say, looking at my schedule.
"Do you want to go to the beach? I have a day off, it's gonna be hot tomorrow."
" yeah sure, let's go after my class," I say.
She finishes washing her face and walks out of my room.
"Alright sleep tight, goodnight." She then says.
"Goodnight, close the lights, thanks," I say.
She then walks to her room. That guy I met at the store flashes through my head again. I can't sleep so I go and sit by my window. The room is dark, but the moonlight is bright. It lights up the whole room. I just hoped I would see him again. Then I just thought, if it's fate, we will meet again.(morning)
"Fake love fake love, I'm so sick of this fake love- fake love" (alarm tone)
ugh, I don't want to go to class. (8 o'clock. Have half an hour. )
"Candy! Are you up, you're going to be late!" Ella called from the kitchen. "Hurry up, I'll take you to school."
"Alright give me a second, I want to sleep more," I shouted back. Finally, I get up and it's already 8:06 am. I walk to my bathroom and wash my face and brush my teeth. Then, I quickly put on a random hoodie and a pair of dark blue jeans. Now it's 8:15 am. I grab my backpack and dreadfully dragged my ass to the kitchen table.
"Hurry up, Candy! Eat your breakfast, you're gonna be late."
"I know mom, it's okay we have plenty of time," I say sarcastically.
"Candy, you should wake up earlier so we don't have to rush." She said giving me a morning lecture before my professor does.
"Sis you're rushing, not me," I say.
"Candy! O I waste my breath speaking to you.Wait at the donut shop near your school after class, I'll come to pick you up." She then says.
" Okay!" I say.(Later)
(beep beep, gets out of the car)
"bye sis, see ya later," I yell.
"Alright be careful and learn something new. Hey, watch out for the cars." Ella shouted.
"Okay, bye," I say.
It's 8:50 now. I started to panic. I start to run. I get to class on time and I go sit down.
(Later)
"Picasso was known for.... blah blah blah..."
That guy at the store, his grin sticks in my head.
"Hey, Candy, what are you smiling about?" Precious asks. Smiling and staring into my eyes.
"Nothing, it's nothing," I say.
"Really are you sure?" She smirked at me, "who's the lucky guy."
"It's nothing," I say again.
"Candy you can't lie to me I know it's someone."
"Alright, I'll tell you later." As I whispered quietly.
"Okay!" Precious then agrees.Precious is my best friend from middle school. We met in art class in 6th grade, since then we have hit it off. She's understanding, and she always figures me out. That's a good and a bad thing at the same time.
